Born to Katara and ShadowWlf on October 13, 2001, MoonFire Amarante was only three years old when she died. MoonFire had dark grey fur and a black blaze on her chest. She had emerald eyes. She was very courageous and always willing to do what she could for the pack.

MoonFire was born a Silver Mist packmate. She had a happy childhood there with her family. Unfortunately, her mother decided to leave the forests for her own personal reasons and left her children in the care of her good friend, Nyx. MoonFire had to leave the Silver Mists with her sister and foster mother. Though she missed her family, her new life was not so bad. They wandered through the forest, occasionally settling for a time at a pack, but never for too long. At last the time came when MoonFire felt she needed to seek her own destiny, her own home. She wandered for many months until finally realizing where she truly wanted to be: her first home, Mysticia. At last she found her way home and was surprised to find her mother and sister had already returned, and thus she was reunited with her true family. She decided at that moment to become the pack's Shamaness. On October 12, she began courting Kindar. That same day, she willingly stepped down to packmate so that another could fill the Shamaness position. She became Kindar's mate on October 26. He confessed to her that he was a spy for the Thunder Howls, but she forgave him. She died just moments before him on January 4, 2005; Kindar came to her aid but was too late to save her.

MoonFire was the biological daughter of ShadowWlf and Katara, littermate to Snow^Whisper and foster sister of Grey_Wolf. She is the granddaughter of Alicorn and ShadowFang and step-granddaughter to RebelWolf. Her great-grandparents are SilverDawn(paternal) and Sapphira & CrimsonStar (maternal). She is the neice of FirE^PawS + Khan-, Cryos, Kamatz, Anyas + Raika, Sunflare, SilverStorm, Naicila, CinderPaws, and Chalcedony. She is the cousin of CrystalStar & MoonDreamer (FP & Cryos), EmberStar (FP), Fire^Fang & BlackenedRain (adopted by FP). She was mate to Kindar.

Her great aunts are RedWolfie and Sheyin, and her great uncles are Manx & Zimazk. She was the first cousin, once removed, of Mariel, Matthias, Mattimeo, Sayna (Red) as well as Solara, The_Redwolf, FlamingRain, Kalima, Seeker, SilverPaws, Jupiestar, NightPaw, Fairlight, EmberEyes, and Leto (Sheyin) who are all her mother's cousins. She was also the first cousin, once removed, of CriDoux, Krys, Moonlight, Starlight, and Esprite (BR) who are her cousin's children.

MoonFire was the foster great-neice of Malachite, AngelWolf + NyteHowl, Rubyna + HarvestMoon, Topaz, and FirE^Wolf, first cousin (once removed) of Zephyr and CelticHowl (Fire), NightWhisper & NightZephyr (AngelWolf), and Rubyna II (Rubyna), second cousin of FeatherPaw, Fire^Whisper, BladeHowl, SwiftPaw, MythClaw, Raelyn, Whitefire, Kalsara, SeiferSpirit, Alyieska, Fale (Zephyr), MercuryWlf (NightWhisper), Silver-Paw, CrescentCub, JynxWlf, BlackPaws, IceRose, Sashi, & WinterTwilight (Celtic).
