Matthias is pure black except for a silver stripe that goes from nose tip to tail tip and narrows as it goes along. He has dark brown eyes that appear black, and there is a large slash across his right eye. He is very large, standing 2'10" tall and measuring 5'3" from nose to tail. He is slightly heavier than the average wolf, making him very strong but not entirely swift. Born December 3rd in 2000, he is 5.

Matthias was in training to become Hunter when he disappeared with his mother and siblings more than two years ago. Somehow, he was seperated from his family. He wandered for many months searching for them, meeting many creatures, seeing different places, hunting and fending for himself. During that time, he met a lone wolf who became a good friend and gave him the nickname "Eros," meaning wanderer. He finally made his way back to the clearing he grew up in, hoping to find someone there. He discovered his siblings had the same idea and had all taken their places in the pack once again. He trained for Hunter as a pup and claimed that rank as an adult before deciding to go off on a journey with SilverStorm to seek out other former Silver Mists. He returned a few weeks later to rest for the winter and perhaps resume his search again when the sun returns. He began training for Guardian shortly before he left the pack entirely with his sister, Mariel, to search for their mother.

Matthias is the son of RedWolfie and GoldRiver; brother of Lyca Mariel, Sayna, and Mistwolf Mattimeo; nephew of Alicorn, RebelWolf (Ali's mate), SilverEyes, mystwolf, & LunaWolf; cousin of Kamatz, Cryos, Katara + ShadowWlf, FirE^PawS + Khan-, Chalcedony, CinderPaws, Naicila, Anyas + Raika, SunFlare, and SilverStorm (Ali); first cousin, once removed to Fire^Fang & BlackenedRain (adopted by FP & Cryos) & DarkenedStorm, NightCry, CrystalStar, GrizzlyPaws, MoonDreamer (FP + Cryos) & EmberStar, DiamondFire, Ali_Paws, DarkTail, MistyMoon (FP), Snow^Whisper & MoonFire + Kindar, and Grey_Wolf[adopted] (Katara) who are all his cousins' children; first cousin, twice removed, to CriDoux, Krys, Moonlight, Starlight, and Esprite (BR & Nyx) who are the children of his first cousin, once removed. He is the cousin of SilverEyes' children.
