Born February 11th, Grey_Wolf Amarante-FyreWind is year-old European Graywolf of average size. His fur is dark gray with some brown scattered here and there. His underbelly and legs are white with hints of black. The top of his head is dark gray, mixed with brown and black, then around his muzzle the fur is white. There is a line of dark gray down his muzzle to his nose. He has brown eyes with a hint of yellow, though his left eye has a whitish tint and is partially blind from a kick he received as a pup. He became Gamma in January 2006.

Grey wolf lost his parents at only four months old and now looks for a new family to join. He is a smart cub who gets to know his place fast. He loves watching the adult wolves hunt and is eager to learn and help with anything. He enjoys playing, which includes scaring other wolves and running around. He has a kind nature and is always willing to help despite his age or size. A very loyal friend, Grey wolf enjoys getting to know new wolves, making him a very friendly pup.

Grey Wolf first entered assessment at the Desert Winds pack. However, after just a short time there, he realized that it was not the family for him. He had become close with the Silver Mists pack and decided to make his home there instead. He entered assessment on September 14. A week before his initiation, he became the ward of Katara. He was initiated on October 12 as a pack pup.

Grey started out in a small, unknown pack. The pack stayed by itself and had its own rules, like most packs do. Grey's parents where the Alphas of the pack, who were very well respected. Grey and his littermates were born early. All of his littermates died, until only he remained. He was not the biggest wolf pup to be born, but he was one for not giving up. His parents looked after him much more carefully, as Grey had some problems at only a few weeks old.

He was a very smart pup and learned basic hunting skills pretty fast. There was another wolf born on the same day as he was whose name was Sheina. They were the best of friends, inseperable. Whereever one went, the other was always nearby. Sheina, was also not a big wolf, but still she gave even the older pups a run for their money. She could never defeat Grey, but she always respected him. He excelled in all areas of fighting, hunting, even gaining friends.

The harmony of their friendship, was too be broken though, as no harmony can last forever. Grey was out on a hunt with his parents. He had had arguments with them not long before and was still a bit annoyed. The hunt was going well, for they had spoted a wounded deer. They thought the task would be easy, but they were quite wrong. Hunters from a nearby human village had wounded this deer and were on its trail.

Grey took ran out of the hunting party to scare his parents, figuring they'd have forgotten the argument when he returned. He accidently ran into the hunter camp. His parents had abandoned the hunt to look for him. Grey found himself in mortal danger. The hunters would return, and he needed to get out of there. He ran back into the forest searching for the hunting party, only to find the deer dead and hunters all around the clearing.

The hunters spotted him and took aim. A shot fired, but Grey remained unharmed. His father took the bullet to his chest and crumpled to the floor, blood staining the grass. "Grey run! Run for it! Get away from her now! Run, the pack is done for! Run and save yourself! The hunter will destroy everyone!" his father shouted. Grey's mother arrived as Grey took off into the forest, but stayed behind to guard her mate. In the distance Grey heard shots fired. He spun around to hear the last scream of two dead alphas, his parents. He has wandered alone ever since.

Two months later, he was captured again by humans. They collared him, and he was unable to escape. A sly lone wolf named MoonHowl noticed his plight and took pity on him. MoonHowl knew the secret of unlocking the collar and set Grey_wolf free. Grey_wolf was left, then, to fend for himself as MoonHowl went off on his own again. Not long after Grey_wolf found the Silver Mists, MoonHowl found the pack as well and decided to stay. Grey_Wolf became Scout on December 14 when he was ten months old. He became the ward of Katara and was later adopted by her and ShadowWlf. He began training for Head Sentinel on Nov 15, 2005. He was elected Gamma but was soon demoted back down to Head Sentinel, as the pack found someone they felt more worthy of the rank. On February the 8th, 2006, he left the Pack.

Grey_Wolf is the adopted son of Katara and ShadowWlf, foster brother to SnowWhisper & MoonFire + Kindar. He is the grandson of Alicorn + ShadowFang.
