BlackGold is a female Gray Wolf of the British Columbian Wolf subspecies. She was born April 23, 2004 and is now a little over a year-old. Her fur is midnight black, though her muzzle, throat, and chest are white. Her eyes are a vivid, golden hue. She stands 2'7" tall, is 4'9" long, and weighs 79lbs.

BlackGold was born in a loose-knit band with her mother, father, brother, and a five year-old male named NightRunner. Her brother Ares died at four months of age from a rattle snack bite. Forced to grow up as the only pup in the band, she decided that once she was of age to set off in search of the great 'packs' that she had heard her parents talking about. When NightRunner was shot for killing three sheep, BlackGold left to find her new home.

BlackGold entered assessment on August 2, 2005. She began training for Sentinel on that day.

BlackGold is the daughter of Ginger and Veil and the sister of Ares.
