Flames Xanther is a black, 2 year old Tundra wolf. He stands roughly 26 inches tall and weighs about 78 pounds. Flames pelt is rich black with a little bit of red mixed in. His eyes are a golden-yellow that stand out from his dark colored pelt.

Flames was separated from his parents when they were killed a while back. His entire pack was killed by hunters and he and his younger sister was the only ones that survived. Flames was very young when he left to find a new pack with his sister, Larka. He had to fend for himself and find food and shelter in scarce weather conditions. A few months after wondering through the forests his sister died from starvation. His instincts came through and the young wolf had become an exceptionally good hunter. Soon enough Flames wandered into a clearing only to find it belonged to a pack called The Silver Mists.

Flames became a Pledge on May 25, 2006 and on May 30 he became an Assessment. On June 27th Flames was initiated after partaking in a co-op hunt with Kaynid. On July 3rd, Flames began training for the position of Hunter. Flames began courting Xarae on July 18th. On July 31st, Flames was promoted to Hunter. Flames was nominated to become Gamma on August 7th and began training for the position. On August 14th, Flames returned to the Hunter position as the Gamma rank was abolished. At the August 28th meeting, Flames became Xarae's mate. On October 16th 2006, Flames was nominated to become Beta and began training for the position. On November 13th, 2006 Flames was promoted to Beta. On January 2nd, 2007 Kalari chose to leave the pack and Flames took her place as Alpha.
