While growing up, Apolla was in only one pack, her birth back – Shadow Chasers. She was part of the Beta Pair’s first litter, made up of five pups in all. A known fact within her family is that the females are usually more dominate than the males.

During Apolla’s time, growing up with the Shadow Chasers, the alpha male – Apolla’s uncle – started to slack off; he no longer cared for the pack, or their well being. Apolla’s father, Sirius, knew that his brother-in-law, SilveredHowl, would never step down as alpha male – the most dominate male of the pack – and so Sirius challenged him. Easily enough, Apolla’s father overpowered her slacking uncle and took the title of Alpha Male. Autumn’s sister, Laithlia, was no longer respected as the Alpha Female, and was demoted to packmate – making Autumn Alpha Female alongside her mate.

Not long after Autumn and Sirius assumed the titles of Alpha Female and Alpha Male, the pack went out hunting. A cougar interfered with this hunt, and killed Sirius. Devastated as she was, Autumn continued to lead the pack on her own aided by the new Beta pair, her niece and nephew-in-law, BlackRose and Adiaen.

By the time they were three months old, one of Apolla’s sisters – Amerylis – was removed from her mother’s den by her father’s sister, Crystalline. The rest of Apolla’s littermates, two brothers – SilverWind (who later became known as Regulas) and Lupin, and her remaining sister Lenne all looked up to her. It was apparent at the tender age of one that she would one day make a good alpha. As she made her way up to her mother, she knew what she was doing was for the best; she nuzzled her Mom before taking off quickly into the forest, leaving her two brothers and her sister behind. They would take care of their mother, she knew.

Knowing as well as she did that Crystalline took one of her sisters and left the pack with her, Apolla could no longer handle being left in the clearing; she knew she must doing something – so when she left, she started searching for her lost sister. She knew, regardless of if it was the last thing she were to do in life, it’d be for the best, so she had to do it. Lupin died while protecting his beloved mother – his alpha. Apolla’s remaining brother, Regulas, and her remaining sister, Lenne, we’re still alive and helping to take care of their grief-stricken mother. She’d promptly been informed of Lupin’s untimely death – she was still relatively close to her former home; she’d left only two days prior.

While on her travels she met, whom she’d later realize was her littermate, a friend named Amerylis. They traveled together and something told her that she should stay close to the female; there was some special bond she couldn’t figure out. The scent was so familiar to her, yet so…different. What she didn’t know, however, was that Amerylis was having the exact same feelings. During their travels Apolla and Amerylis grew closer, and closer. On their way to Canada Apolla and Amerylis met Octoberus, who soon became Apolla’s mate. Apolla brushed the feeling off, as they were just such good friends, so of course they’d be familiar to one another.

There was only one problem, Apolla thought; Amerylis smelt like her mother, however faintly it was, it was her mother’s scent, nonetheless. What bothered her the most was that she didn’t realize this before. About a year later, right before the creation of the Crescent Moons, Apolla and Amerylis went to the side and spoke privately. When they returned to Octoberus they told him that they were littermates.

Apolla and her mate, Octoberus, decided that they were finally ready to settle down and start a pack of their own. They named the pack, Crescent Moons, and have settled happily into it with Amerylis as their first Beta female and Lenne, who’d found them as the first Delta Female. Their mother found them soon after. One thing she hates to admit is her full name, partly because it’s so long, and partly because it just annoys her to death – Apolla ArcticWind Shadow Chaser Crescent Moon.

On October 12, the Crescent Moons found their way to Mysticia and merged with the Silver Mists. Two weeks later, Apolla became Beta Female. On February 1, Apolla was demoted to Gamma Female, when Alyth^--Alpha of Moon Valley—became Beta as a result of another pack merge.

Apolla went on to become the Alpha Female when Alicorn retired. During her time in the pack she was reunited with her mother, for a second time, and she met her niece, Akuma, daughter of her brother Regular (formerly having been known as SilverWind). She dissolved her mating with Octoberus on May 3, 2005.

After leaving the Silver Mists she went to the Sweet Mystics, where she became a member for a very brief period, and also the spirit mother to Soma. She felt empty inside, though, and took off in search of her pups, Cyanne and Artemist. She found they had passed away, and returned home pregnant on January 25, 2008, for the reuniting of the Silver Mists. She is currently holding the Beta Female position.

Apolla is the daughter of Autumn + Sirius; sister to Lenne + Solarflare, Amerylis, Regulas + Shalamar, and Lupin; mother to Hedwig, CrescentHowl, Cyanne, and Artemist (first litter w/ Octoberus); niece to Laithlia + SilveredHowl, and Crystalline; cousin of BlackRose and Adiaen; aunt to Akuma.
