Reminder: All, or nearly all, false remarks regarding us have been removed from the Spirit Chasers' (formerly the Shadow Runners') site, as well as some other disparaging remarks. We are banned now only to prevent our members causing trouble in their room regarding banished wolves in our pack. This should not be so. The wrongs against us have been righted, and we will not cause trouble for the Spirit Chasers. The Spirit Chasers and Silver Mists are not to communicate at all, except alpha to alpha. The Spirit Chasers are not banished from our clearing, as there is no need for them to be. We hope in time a full truce can exist between packs and the ban against us lifted. I hope this is understood by all members.
Reminder: We will start RP sessions on September 3rd, and there will be three a week. You will be required to attend two of them per week for at least 30 minutes, unless you have a valid excuse. The times, dates, and hosts are as follows: On Mondays, 6 PM to 1 AM EST with StoneWolf; On Tuesdays, 4 PM to 7 PM EST with Alicorn; on Wednesday, SIX (changed) to 9 PM EST with GreighWolf. We will roleplay at other times during the week, but these are just "official" sessions, times that we can ensure wolves will be in the room.
Because our turnouts have been so low at pack meetings, all pack meetings will now be at 8 PM EST instead of 7 PM EST. Everyone make note of this, please.
To prevent the pack being completely sychronized (amongst other reasons), wolves are now allowed to mate at any time of the year; however, they must speak with an alpha first to ensure that no more than two wolves at a time are pregnant (which will prevent having a clearing full of pups and chaos). Also, wolves may only have one litter per year, to ensure better relationships between parents and children (and to ensure that no couple takes on more than they can handle at a time).
Regarding aging of pups, we have decided that one month real time will equal two months RP time, until a wolf is at the age of one, after which the wolf would age normally UNLESS all members of a litter decide they wish to age normally from the beginning.
Regarding dens, wolves may now choose whether their dens are part of our RPG or seperate. Owners of a seperate den may manage their den however they wish; however, no RP that takes place there will be considered relevent to our RPG. For dens that are part of our RPG, the same rules and behaviors will apply there as in the main clearing, as the dens are on pack territory. High ranked wolves will be treated with the deserved respect in dens, and they will be allowed in at all but the most sensitive of times. Den-owners may add new rules but must enforce all rules that apply to the main clearing.
Because we've had a problems with wolves not howling for their kill, we added a new rule: If you don't howl for it, you don't eat it.
Reminder: We have new players playing RedWolfie's pups. Please understand that they are new to RP, and help them to learn our ways. We must help them develop their wolven spirits and be aptient with them. Also, we are still looking for someone to RP Mariel, whose description is listed on the members page. We ask for all members to help us look for someone.
We have decided that on Wednesdays at 8 PM EST, we will now host a "storytime" night, during which wolves will share stories of their histories and travels. If you would like to volunteer to share your story with our pack, contact an alpha or beta, and we will set up a date for you. This week's story will be about StoneWolf.

Regarding ranking, we have decided that wolves must be two years of age to hold rank and to be considred a full pack member. Wolves who are older than twelve months but less than twenty-four months will be considered yearlings; they may train for ranks and court, but may not actually hold rank or mate.
We have changed our honored guest policy. From now on, some wolves will simply be guests, welcome in our clearing but not voiced; others will be honored wolves, who are honored with certain rights and with voices. Honored Guests are now only SilverEyes, WolfTail, Kiersah, Memory`, and Kaltag.

We will continue accepting assessments, despite our site as long as our bonds stay this strong. In the future, we may need to vote on prolonging assessment periods. We are proud to be Silver Mists, and we should accept others into our pride with wagging tails.
