Meeting 5/14/02

As you've all noticed, the clearing has been silent and empty lately. Many members have left because of it. Should this go on, the pack will die. We must pull together to survive, as we always have. So, with this in mind, I expect all of you to help us fix this problem by being here and RPing while here. I hope we can heal the pack. July 22 will be our birthday, so let's make it to then. We must stand together as a family, and we can rise above this as we always do.

All currently inactive members, with the exception of Red's pups, are hereby removed from the pack, and their inactivity will not help us at this time. This includes Kamatz and Callestia.

We are focusing all of our strength to repairing the pack, and are thus temporarily removing the following ranks from our hierarchy temporarily: Guardian, Hunter, Enforcer, Shaman, Scout, and Omega. It will be everyone's job now to help hunt and protect this pack, and to help any wounded. Alphas and Betas will enforce rules. Problems of other packs don't concern us now, so we don't need scouts. When we have a greater need for more structure, we will post these ranks again.

OOC Rule #9 Modified: part about only Alphas and Betas being listed in the topic was removed

Pack Rule #4 Modified: Anyone whose nickname expires after a 30 day period of inactivity will be removed from the pack. They may undergo assessment again when they return.

Pack Rule #10 Removed, as people blow it off anyway

Assessment Rule #4, regarding sponsored assessment, was removed.

The rule about two initiations per meeting was removed.

I expect everyone to be here at least an hour a day between 4:00 and 9:30 PM EST and probably more than that on weekends. If you're online between 4:30 and 9:30 PM EST, I want you here. If you are here, I want you RP'ing unless you have an away tag.

GreighWolf and SilverEyes are no longer honored guests, as they are rarely here.

For constant rudeness to many people in many places, StoneWolf is no longer an Honored Guest.

NightRunner became Beta.

Meetings will be weekly from now on. The next one will be this Tuesday, same Silver Mist time, same Silver Mist place. Anyone who misses three in a row without an excuse will be removed from the pack.

ShadowWlf and Alician are no longer mates.

If anyone has any RP'er friends, please talk to them about joining or RPing a pup here. That would help.

Fighting Rule Modified:

  • Member vs member: Unless severely provoked, attacker will be chased out and banished. A provoker will be demoted, removed from the pack, or banished, while the attacker here may receive a punishment less than banishment.
  • Member vs nonmember: Unless severely provoked, member may be demoted or removed from the pack. A provoking nonmember may be banished, while member will be demoted. Any nonmember who fights back, unless no members were present to intervene, will be temporarily banished.
  • Nonmember vs member: Nonmember is at the mercy of the pack and may be killed but will most definitely be banished. A member who provokes an attack may be demoted or placed on probation. Continued aggression may result in loss of membership and later banishment.
  • Nonmember vs nonmember: Attacker will be banished. A provoker may also be banished. Should the person attacked fight back, they will be temporarily banished unless no member took care of the situation.
