Meeting 5/10/05

The majority of the pack (excluding pups and LOAers, who have no say in pack affairs) has agreed that it is unfair and against our rules for Sayna to have a chance to take away Apolla's rank without first proving her unworthy to be Alpha. While it may have been unfair to Sayna that Apolla trained for and became Alpha instead of her, she had three chances, before Apolla's promotion, to come forward with her true feelings and object to the promotion. The Alphas at the time, Katara and Alicorn, agreed that Apolla, not Sayna, be nominated for promotion, and no one objected when Apolla was promoted. The present Alphas still do not agree that Sayna is a better choice, and therefore Sayna cannot be nominated for the position. It is too late to come forward with objections to Apolla's promotion now, and the only way for Apolla to be ousted and replaced by anyone, Sayna included, is to be proven unworthy of the position. Sayna may, however, continue training for the position of Alpha and may be promoted to Alpha if ever an Alpha steps down or is proven unworthy, if the other Alpha as well as the pack agrees.

Katara is on LOA for 3 to 6 months and was thus demoted to packmate, as mandated by pack law. Council has agreed that until a replacement is trained or until Katara returns, whichever comes first, Alicorn shall be Alpha. Those wishing to train for Alpha must contact Alicorn within the next few days; alpha permission and previous council experience is required. So far, Lenne, Phantom, and Riverwind have expressed a desire to train. (Because Kat is on LOA for OOC reasons, the IC story is that she has stepped down to focus on motherhood for a while.)

Zenji and Sayna became mates.

WhiteWinds Gamma Silver Mist and Hunter Alpha Sweet Mystic became spiritual siblings. (Because of the Sweet Mystic rule their bond is between just them.)

Autumn Shadow Chaser was initiated after beating Grey_Wolf and Hunter^ at a swimming race. She also adopted DangerFang. *howls*

Rinku�s banishment was lifted; however, the pack reserves the right to banish him again should he show such gross disrespect for our pack and its rules again.
