Born August 1, 2000, Strauss Darkwinds is a three year old male eastern timberwolf with a shy but loving nature. His long and soft fur of mix shades of black, brown and white flows fluidly as he moves. His hazel eyes beam with love for all he see. At 5'0" long, standing at 2'5" and weighing 103lbs, he is a kind and gentle soul who avoids conflicts at all cost.

Strauss was born into a small pack led by his mother and father. He grew up with his two sibling in constant fear of their father. Strauss' father had a very dangerous and unpredictable nature. He could be loving in one moment, the next angry and quite violent, lashing out at anything that moved. As time went on Strauss' brother, who seem to have inherited his father's odd nature, grew more and more competitive with his father and soon was banished. His sister found herself in love with a lone wolf who followed their pack and soon ran away with him to start her own pack. From that point on the pack dwindled down to a mere three, Strauss and his parents.

During last year's winter Strauss was injured during a hunt which forced his parents to forge for food. While forging they where both shot and killed by humans, and after Strauss found their bodies he nearly died from starvation as he wouldn't leave their side for over three weeks. With the pain of hunger as motivation he left his parents' bodies and began to live off of scraps from others' kills and fish.

He aimless wandered for months before finally finding the Silver Mists. He was initiated as their scout on August 11, 2004. He departed for his own reasons a month later.
