Cryos Amarante is a two year-old Arctic wolf named for his deep blue eyes and snowy fur. He stands near to three feet tall and is four and a half feet long. He weighs 84lbs. Cryos is very nervous and shy when first met, but once he gets to know those around him better, he acts more playful and confident. He joined September 1, 2001.

Cryos is the adopted son of Alicorn and StoneWolf. He is the foster brother of CinderPaws, Chalcedony, Sunflare, Anyas, SilverStorm, Kamatz, FirE^PawS, and Katara. He is the foster uncle of Snow^Whisper & MoonFire (Katara & ShadowWlf) and the foster father of Fire^Fang & BlackenedRain. His biological children are CrystalStar and MoonDreamer, from his former mate FirE^PawS. He is the foster grandfather of CriDoux, Moonlight, Krys, Starlight, and Esprite. He is the spiritual nephew of RedWolfie, Sheyin, and Zimazk and spiritual cousin to Mariel, Matthias, Mattimeo, Sayna (Red) as well as Solara, The_Redwolf, FlamingRain, Kalima, Seeker, SilverPaws, Jupiestar, NightPaw, Fairlight, EmberEyes, and Leto (Sheyin). He is the foster grandson of SilverDawn (paternal) and deceased CrimsonStar & Sapphira (maternal). He is the step-son of RebelWolf and thus nephew to Manx, and, ironically, his own younger foster sister CinderPaws.

Cryos is the foster nephew of Malachite, AngelWolf, Rubyna, Topaz, and FirE^Wolf, cousin of Zephyr and CelticHowl (Fire),first cousin once removed of FeatherPaw, Fire^Whisper, BladeHowl, SwiftPaw, MythClaw, Raelyn, Whitefire, Kalsara, SeiferSpirit, Alyieska, Fale (Zephyr), Silver-Paw, CrescentCub, JynxWlf, BlackPaws, IceRose, Sashi, & WinterTwilight (Celtic). His first cousins twice removed are LightSpark and ShadowStreak. These wolves, the biological relatives of his foster mother, are more like distant cousins. His true family, listed above, are the Silver Mists. He does not know his birth family.
