Tangled amongst this thread of mediocrity
Struggling to find the being inside of me
To finally figure out
What the heck I’m about
And why is it that I doubt
My worth everyday
I just can’t stay but I won’t go away
I’m enveloped in this gray
It swallows me whole
While I’m clenching to my soul
I need to find out where I stand
Dig me out of this sand
I’m so far down below
