| for this project I used 2 sinbad/GI Joe dolls. I wanted to use the closed mouth head on the bare chested dolls body so I had to swap heads. |
| to swap heads I use a hot water method ,I heat 2 cups of water in the microwave, its needs to be hot but NOT boiling submerse your dolls head and let it soak for a minute then pull off your dolls head while its wrapped in a dry dish towel (be carefull of hot water running from inside your dolls head) this method works great for most dolls !! I use it for Barbie ,Gene and Tyler , for dolls with softer hair like some Barbies have ( the swminsuit barbies have softer hair as do many other barbies and water that is too hot will ruin their hair) use water that is very warm not hot for these dolls. |
| For this dolls project I wanted to give my doll a mohair wig and rooted beard ! I cut of the hair of sinbad using a xacto knifeI also trimmed his original beard down as you will see in pictures below ! |

| You can see here I have already removed some of his makeup using qtips and acetone free nail polish remover. Im know proceeding to root in his beard (tails?) using a large needle and hair taken from a rio lea doll I root going through the chin into the inner head. using a needle nose plier to push and pull through the needle. |
