Trip to Paris, 20-22 June 2003
Yes, Vincent took me to Paris! :o) It was heaven! Great weather, great food, loads of bisous... ;o)

But the view afterwards was really nice, I think sacre Coeur looks fab, like whipped cream...;o)
We took a break (I really needed one after all those steps) to have our baguette (really needed that too) and we sat next to this mountain of kids. They were so funny!
After we found the hotel, we went to Sacre Coeur. Unfortunately, we had to get over all these stairs first... *puff, puff, gasp for air*

The other side of it...
What was that about whipped cream again?

The view from Sacre Coeur. Isn't it gorgeous? As it was really packe,d we didn't actually go all the way up to the tower, we just walked around a bit which was lovely too.
And I had to sit again... and enjoy the view!
Vincent at Sacre Coeur, he didn't actually notice me taking this...;o)
Then we went to the Pere la Chaise, the most famous graveyard in Paris where all the famous people get buried.
We saw Jim Morrison's Grave, I've been wanting to see that for ages!
At least I got the whole thing in the photo...
The bird was actually sitting on an older grave, but I was too late... Later on I got him anyway, though on a more modern one.
It was v strict though, w cops & everything. And you weren't allowed to sit there either. Understandable of course considering previous graffiti attacks...
On the way to Edith Piaf we walked past Oscar Wilde's grave. It's full of kisses, I think it looks fab! :o) Too bad I didn't bring lipstick...
Totally different than I remembered from the movie, but v nice anyway.
After I had asked for directions (in French!) we found Edith Piaf's grave.
No, not the Coca Cola sign, the other red sign, the sign of the Moulin Rouge. The road was very busy and when Didier finally pulled over I'd already taken the picture. The fact that I was so tired I passed out abput 10 seconds later in the car probably has something to do with it as well...
I was obviously not the only one... hahaha
We stopped for a drink a few hours later as Didier had driven all across Paris and shown Vincent the sights (as I was sound asleep). We actually said on a terras! it was sooo nice... *sigh*
So we had to take one last photo before saying goodbye to Didier again...
In the evening we met up with Didier. As we walked to his car, I spotted this Austin Powers Mini, isn't it cute???
