Greetings, my name is Father Adramelech. I am the founder and metal smith of Gothic Chains. My goal is to bring to you the highest possible quality goods at the lowest prices.
The first thing you might notice about these pages is that there is very little in the way of armor pictured. This is because I feel there are more then enough outlets offering chainmaile armor for the recreationist. I am more interested in jewelry and fashion items. It is my hope that what I create will appeal mostly to those who are interested in costumes, fantasy/fetish ware or just something interesting to ware out on Saturday night. If you are interested in armor you may contact me to discuss what you have in mind, as we may be able to work something out. I am fully capable of making such things, I just do not want it to be the mainstay of my business.
Secondly, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that these pages are as much a portfolio as they are a catalog. Some items are available for immediate sale, however many of the pictures in the catalog section are there to inspire your imagination. I like to work closely with my customers to create something that is exactly what they are looking for, and unique to them. If you see something on these pages, or anywhere else that interests you, drop me a line and tell me about it. I will do everything I can to make what you want.
Since I work alone and sell directly to the customer, Gothic Chains has very little overhead. I also prefer to make small items (compared to full suits) which allows me to make many items all with a low price. I try to keep my prices below the going rate for chainmaile. If you come across anything being sold elsewhere, which costs less and is of a comparable nature to something at Gothic Chains, bring it to my attention and I will match the price.
Given the size of the things I make, it takes no more then a few days to complete most items. This means you will not have to wait 6-8 weeks for your maile. However since I do work alone there will be times when I can not complete orders with my usual speed due to personal issues. If I expect any sort of long term delay I will post the information on these pages. And of course I will always give you a time estimate when you order. Finally, these items are made to last. Most of them should give you very little trouble, though it is always a good rule of thumb to be gentle with your jewelry, just in case. I will always let you know how strong I expect a given piece may be. If any item you order becomes damaged, let me know about it. If the damage can be reasonably linked to a flaw in the design or workmanship I will repair it for free. if an item becomes damaged in some other way I will repair it most of the time for only a small fee.
