As you well know most if not all of the world is steeped in the Christian religion, I was raised on Christ and God, and its all Ive ever known. Not so for the Lhiannan. From what I have gathered, these allusive Cainites look back on the most ancient of times fondly. When people worshipped Gods and Goddesses, when Sabbaths were performed with joy and love, they were a time for great celebration as well. This bloodline is an offshoot of the Gangrel clan that is perhaps why they can only be found in the most remote lands or forests. These vampires once held a tight grip among the older tribes of man; its lessened considerably in these nights. The Romans and the Church can be blamed for the loss of their ways.

The line is very matriarchal; they do not believe in Caine and consider anything about him to be nothing more then myth or legend. Instead they believe they are descendants of the Crone, which I can only assume is our Mother Lilith. She is supposed to be some dark woman who prowled the ancient nights; again I assume it must be Lilith. From bits of blood the Lhiannan were created, its their legend I wont try disputing it. Few Cainites have argued that their stories in-fact sound much like fragments from the book of Nod. It has been the source of heated debate for a while now; they may grow tired of arguing about it sooner rather then later.

As sad as it is, they are a hunted people, often times pursued by hunters and Cainites alike. Their line id dwindling so quickly that I fear the Lhiannan may not survive much longer. What attracts hunters, I think, is that their mystical nature shines so brightly in these nights, that perhaps they think the Lhiannan are nothing more then demons to be destroyed in the name of god.

In days long past the clan allied themselves with the Celts and other pagan oriented villages. Often making other vampires and ghouls out of the mortals who dwelled in these villages. Tales of blood rites and terrible rituals have filtered out of the lands they used to inhabit. That is perhaps why the Church has a crusade against them and is slaughtering them whenever they are found.

The real trouble for the Lhiannan comes back to us and the Church, I have to ask. Who gave us the right to exterminate a single bloodline for their ways? If that is the case then I know several clans worthy of said extermination.

Their religious practice along with them and those who serve them have been forced underground, a terrible thing to have to happen to such an interesting line. I will say this much, if one approached me this very night and told me more about her line I wouldnt write it down, I wouldnt utter her name or give any clues as to where she was hiding. This wholesale extermination leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Whos to say that it will end with the death of the last Lhiannan, any one of our clans could be targeted, chosen for final death. The Toreador and the Lasombra have themselves deeply embedded in the Church; it could easily be them or anyone that angers one of those lines. Poor fools, stop deciding who should have unlife and who shouldnt. One more puzzle to think onWhy arent the Gangrel helping these poor unfortunates? Its from their blood that this clan sprang into being; dont they feel some sort of responsibility towards these children?
