Known as The Clan of Death, the Cappadocians have been shunned for their bizarre obsession with death. Cappadocian himself in life was a priest, spending his time trying to learn the secrets of life and death and of what has come to him after his Embrace. He and his childer continue to search nightly for the secrets of life and of their existance. Thanks to their efforts, Cainites as a whole have learned more about their unnatural states of being. Because of their secretive ways they are both highly respected and feared.

I have had some startling and frightening conversations with a few of that clan. Even if because of what they were able to tell me about death, I am better able to understand the vampiric condition. To my way of thinking there are thousands of mysteries out there yet to be solved by any one clan, how can these seemigly gentle souls think they will learn it all. Oh, and ignore that twaddle about wanting to destroy God, its not possible.

Among Cainites, they are often times advisors to many princes, treasured for their wisdom and insight, trusted more so then many other cainites simply because power and wealth arent what they strive for. Because of this attitude all Cappadocians have, they and the Ventrue have formed an unspoken alliance, thus making it easier for the clan to work in secret unhindered in exchange for their council. Their seat of power lies in Turkey, where they have labratories and access to much for their research.

I knew one Toreador who was so fascinated by the human body in all its states that she spent years with the Cappadocians learning all she could, learning what they had to offer. She came back very changed. Other then that I cannot say more.

In recent nights, the clan has embraced a small family of necromancers in order to expand their studies and research. It is the hope of the clan that with these new members of the family, they can reach out across the universe and gather to them the secrets of the ages. Perhaps the truths theyve so long sought will come to them in the times ahead.

I haven't met one of these new necromancers yet. I hope to have the pleasure of their company sometime. How else will I pen their chapter among my pages?
