Addiction
She calls my name, and I Answer,
I smell her sweet scent and I crave her
I feel her essence, fill up my lungs,
suffocating me, yet making me whole.
I feel her numbness cover me, a mothers
touch, a lovers whisper, blocking all pain, but bring more
Rotting my lungs, completing my soul
my best friend, and my deadliest foe
I float in space, such a lost soul
only to come down, and do some more.
I slip away into a morbid dreamed sleep,
my life a sham, and I knew then,
what I know now. since I met her
I will never be the same.
