"No Man's Land!" Side by side with the new Batgirl, Azrael finally

Emberlin; cover by Tony Harris and Ray Snyder.

"No Man's Land" in the conclusion to "Low Road to Golden

No Man's Land? (32 pages, $1.99)
BATMAN: HARLEY QUINN
Written by Paul Dini; art by Yvel Guichet and Aaron Sowd;
painted cover by Alex Ross.
The most popular character introduced in Batman's
animated adventures enters the DC Universe -- and "No Man's Land" --
in a Prestige one-shot written by Harley's creator, Paul Dini, with a painted
cover by Alex Ross and interiors by Yvel Guichet and Aaron Sowd. Since Gotham's
fall, the Joker has been relatively quiet... but that's about to change as
former Arkham Asylum doctor Harleen Quinzel joins the Clown Prince of Crime to
put him back on top. But when their unusual partnership leaves Harley a little
worse for wear, she enlists Poison Ivy's help. Now the Joker and Batman are
going to learn that this souped-up Harley's not going to be pushed around
anymore. (48 pages, $5.95)
CATWOMAN: GUARDIAN OF GOTHAM #1
Written by Doug Moench; art and cover by Jim Balent
Heroine Selina Kyle defends Gotham from a deadly
vigilante called the Bat-Man in a stylish 2-part Elseworlds Prestige
mini-series. In the darkened streets of Gotham City, Catwoman has waged a
lonely battle against the strange villains -- the Joker, Two-Face, Killer Croc,
and more -- that call the city home. But now Gotham is under siege from a
brutal vigilante who murders the city's freakish criminals, and while Selina is
closing in on the mysterious newcomer, she is unaware that he already has
rooted out her true identity. (48 pages, $5.95)
JLA: FOREIGN BODIES
Written by Len Kaminski; art and cover by Val Semeiks and
Prentis Rollins.
The members of the JLA face the ultimate obstacle --
themselves -- in a Prestige one-shot that finds their minds switching bodies...
and an enemy secretly taking control of one of the heroes. When the JLA
encounters a new super-villainess known as Psikosis, the brain-switching
aftermath forces them to master powers they've never used before, from
perspectives they've never experienced. And they must accomplish that
incredible task while saving the world from an onslaught of terrorist
activities masterminded by Kobra. But which of Leaguers are not what (or whom)
they appear to be? (64 pages, $5.95)
NIGHTWING #36
Written by Chuck Dixon; art and cover by Scott McDaniel
and Karl Story.
Part 2 of Nightwing's 3-part "No Man's Land"
adventure. Trapped in the bowels of Blackgate, Nightwing must convince the
other inmates to aid him in his escape. And, if he succeeds, he has to figure
out what to do after he's released dozens of Gotham City's most insane and
deadly costumed villains. (32 pages, $1.99)

Roach; cover by Rodolfo Damaggio.
Harley Quinn hits the streets of "No Man's
Land" in Part 1 of the 2-part "The Code!" Following the events
of Batman: Harley Quinn, Harley returns just as the Joker expands his turf over
the broken bodies of two warring gangs. While she uses a philosophy called
"The Code" to try to manipulate events to her liking, Joker makes a
sweeping move that threatens to tip the balance of power in Gotham and change
the face of "No Man's Land" forever. (32 pages, $1.99)

BATMAN BEYOND "SPLICES" SEASON OPENER
---------------------------------------
Writer Evan Dorkin recently told The Continuum web site
that "Splicers," an episode he co-wrote with Sarah Dyer, will be the
second-season premiere of Batman Beyond on Kids' WB!.
"We actually just found out from (producer) Paul
Dini that our episode is slated to kick off the new season. We only did one
script because of our schedule, and I guess they must like it if they chose it
to be the opener. Or maybe they want it over with fast, who knows? Either way,
we're looking forward to seeing it; we're supposed to have a final cut shortly."
