         GOTHAM WEEKLY NEWS #66

Friday 8th January 1999

INCREASED CIRCULATION FOR GWN

-------------------------------

I'm pleased to announce that as well as having over 1200 regular subscribers, GOTHAM WEEKLY NEWS is now circulated via the Super-Hero News mailing list and is available on line as part of the CBC-Web Mag at www.sfcentral.com/cbc with each new edition being posted on a Sunday evening.

BATMAN BEYOND THIS WEEKEND

-----------------------------

Set those VCRs for Sunday night and the prime-time debut of the new BATMAN BEYOND TV show. The show is scheduled to premiere with a full hour showing of the first story "Rebirth". Look out for it at 7pm(ET) on Sunday on the KidsWB!

The show will be repeated on Saturday 16th in its normal Saturday morning timeslot of 9.30am (ET). Saturday 16th also sees the debut of the long awaited TV adaptation of "Mad Love", the story of Harley Quinn's origin.

A BATMAN BEYOND web site is now operational at www.batmanbeyond.com where a QuickTime clip of the shows opening titles can be downloaded.

Early reviews of the show have been favorable. Cinescape called it "entertaining and occasionally suspenseful animated TV fare, an all too rare commodity in these days of lesson-teaching animated drivel."

Sit back and enjoy the show...

As always have a good week and all the best.
