BAT - DREW
On 5th November the Drew Carey Show on ABC aired an
episode full of homages to the various incarnations of Batman. The premise of
the show was that Drew won The Batmobile in a fast food contest. The show
contained lots of Batman references plus a few appearences by the Batman
Forever style Batmobile described on the show as "the coolest car in the
world." More details and a full
plot synopsis will be included in next month's Gotham Gazette.

Combo #35 cover dated December 97 hit the newsstands this
week with a "Thrillkiller 62" cover featuring Batgirl and Batman
painted by Dan Brereton.
Inside is an interview with Dan and fellow Thrillkiller
creator Howard Chaykin about the upcoming "Thrillkiller 62" series.
Also in the magazine is a feature on Bat artist Norm Breyfogle and his upcoming
"Batman: Alien Abduction" special.
"BATMAN & ROBIN" VIDEO SALES

Since going on sale on October 21st the US sales and
rentals of "Batman & Robin" have been surprisingly strong. It
will be interesting to see if the video performs like the movie and quickly
disappears of the sales charts.

During the first two weeks of November the
"Executive Collectibles Gallery" fall auction will be held.
Highlights of the auction include a run of Detective Comics from #27 through to
#40 (estimated to fetch around $95,000) and a complete run of Batman from #1 to
the present (estimated to fetch around $55,000). Bids can be placed upto the
