Have you ever

Have you ever loved someone so much that even the thought of being without them can brake you?
Have they broke you and the pain that they caused can only be set free with one single gash?
Has that gash ever healed, but the hurt still remains within?
Have those gashes ever left a hurt scratching to be let out?
Have you ever had a scratch on your wrist that only a razor balde can scratch?
Has that scratch ever teased you so much that you cannot bring yourself to scratch it, because of the fear that you may need to scratch it again?

Have you ever had an ache that only the touch of a loved one can cure?
Has that person ever deserted you, so now your ache becomes dull, throbbing and eternal as you have no cure?
Have you ever felt all your emotions buliding up inside ready to explode, but all you can do is freeze?
Has that emotion ever been lost within you until a single thing releases it?
Have you ever had a sting that is so deep inside, all you want to do is tear it out?
Has that sting ever stug you so much that you end up tearing yourself and others apart?

Have you ever felt so cold, that you are entirely numb and cannot feel any colder?
Has that coldness ever rubbed off on some other being and now you are numb from the whole world?
Have you broken yourself into so many pieces that you go out into the world and expect to be broken?
Has being broken and put back together made you stronger?
And now you never have a scratch on your wrist that only a razor blade can scratch,
Because you have decided to stop punishing yourself for the person you truly are.
