We just wanted to go ahead and add a few new things we worked on today. We updated Ask Psycho-Chick Abbie and Miscellaneous Stuff.
We also added a new page: The Mankirt - A Kevin Thang.
That's all we did today, just letting you know though.

Well, this has been one CRAZY week. For everybody. We haven't done much updating. Truth is: We've been either too tired, lazy, or busy to do it. Another factor is that we haven't really felt like it. Oh well. Not much to report on. Abbie is 17 now. YAY! (nobody sent her a party hat!)
As far as the site goes, we've done a little work on FOTW and fixed Abbie's age on her personal page....that's about it. I wish we had some confessions for ya, but we don't.
We got our class rings Wednesday night. That was a big deal. Wow. I can't believe we'll graduate next year. AMAZING! It's exciting to know we'll be out of school in a year and a half, yet sad that the two of us will have to part. :( Don't worry, though. We'll deal with it somehow. Alot of our friends are graduating this year. That's hard to believe too. I think we'll both really miss them.
Hmm....oh yeah, we're both on Prom Committee this year! YAY! It's gonna be sooooooo pretty! Can't wait till the big day! Hmmm....who should I take? Hehe. *big grin* I think I know the answer to that one. And I think Abbie does too. :D
We won our rival game of the season last night. GO TIGERS! The score was like 55 to 14. We kick ass. We kick major ass. It was a good game...especially all those times we made touchdowns. :P The entire band was singing the old cheer "Go Banana go go banana..." Yeah . It was special in every sense of the word. We Har Special. Kind of an inside joke, it's funny, so laugh anyway.
Life has been just crazy this week. With all this talk of terrorism and war, it's hard to make things funny. So, we're not going to try too hard. This isn't really a time for laughter. It's a time for grief and re-building. But, we must update as normal...that is, if we can find the time in our busy lives!
Well, no Backstreet news to report that we know of. But, we're kinda out of the loop these days. Forgive us. Now, if the Backstreet Boys were in our marching band, we'd know ALL the latest gossip, but sorry. All we DO know is that the single for Drowning is out. We haven't picked it up yet. BAD FANS! BAD FANS! We downloaded the song, though. We still love em, but we're just a little busy right now, hey...we're only human.
La la la la la la....okay. That's all Katie can think of to say right now without telling her whole life story. Alrighty, BYE NOW!

   We're sure everybody knows about the terrible tragedy the United States has suffered this week. Our current entrance page should speak for itself. Even though, we have deep feelings about this subject and could go on all day about it, we choose not to. Our political opinions are shared with eachother, our families and closest friends. Right now, all we can do is try to help in any way we can. Abbie will be donating blood (Katie can't because she's only 16) and Katie's family is sending money to the Red Cross and EVERYONE is praying for the victims. We hope you and your families are doing the same.
   In other matters, our football game was cancelled Friday night, coincidentally, it was the game of the season! It was the game against our rival school. BUT, we are truly glad it was cancelled. It shows that we're not shallow and uncaring...unlike some of the football players at our school.
   In Backstreet news....well....we don't really know any Backstreet news! We've been too busy watching CNN. Oh well, as much as we love them, they're not that important.
   Amazingly, ths is the first update we've ever done while together. WOW. This is a big deal! We are both at Abbie's house right now writing this together, unfortunately, we're too goofy to really update, so we're gonna go now. Goobyebye.

   Not too much of an update, but we just wanted to keep up with everything. All we updated today was FOTW, Miscellaneous Stuff, and Ask Psycho-Chick Abbie. (yeah, we changed the name) See, not much, but we do have some stuff to talk about and comment on.
   The VMA's. How HOT did they look? Yeah yeah yeah, Kevin WAS in another man skirt, and he looked like he was trying to go for that Tom Hanks in Cast Away look, but it could be worse. *long pause* Okay, maybe not. Kev, honey, get the hair cut and leave Kristin to the skirts in the family! But other than the greaseball named Kevin, Backstreet has never looked hotter. Nick was lookin' like he WANTED to be attacked by horny fans, AJ looked sexy times 73, Howard was just plain hot (did I just say that?) and Brian looked as great as he always does.
   It totally SUCKS that they didn't win any of the awards they were up for, but it'll all be okay. *N Sync totally cheated anyway. The Michael Jackson stunt was just dirty. Oh well, we all know who's better. :P
   AJ said that Thursday (day of the VMA's) was his 64th day sober. We are soooo proud of him for that. And for putting up with all the LAME jokes. (I'm sending a hit-man after Jamie Foxx!...j/k) Even if AJ and the rest of the Boys didn't win a VMA, they certainly deserve a HUGE award for being as strong as they are. WE LOVE YOU! *wipes away a tear pretending there was something in her eye* Aww.
   About this new album, Chapter 1....It has been said that it is NOT a greatest hits album, but more of a closure to the first chapter of their lives and careers. Yeah...I can see that. It makes sense. And the new song, "Drowning" is GORGEOUS! I heard it had a country flair, and I was a little worried about that, but I had nothing to worry about. It's one of the most beautiful songs they've done. It's up there with "More Than That", "Show Me The Meaning", and "Back to Your Heart".
   It's really great, but what else could we expect from our Boys? Nothing less than the best. My favorite line is when Nick says "I can't imagine life without your love and even forever don't seem like long enough..." and then in the chorus it goes "...and every time I try to rise above, I get swept away by love..." It's one of those songs that could make you cry, like MTT. Maybe it's just me, but Backstreet is like fine wine, they just get better with age. Whereas other "all-male vocal quintets" get more petty and insincere. *cough**nsync**cough*...
   Anyway.......On to Katie & Abbie news...this week has been one of those you just wish had never happened. We lost our football game Friday night. That makes two in a row. I don't know what's wrong with our team this year. Last year we won every game except the state championship. I guess it's just one of those things. You can't win 'em all.
   Our band was um.....not so great on Friday night, either. I guess it had something to do with the fact that the other band was about 3 times out size and about 30 times better. And it probably had something to do with the fact that at half-time, we were losing 21-0. We were a LITTLE down about that one. We'll be okay, though. I hope so.
   Next monday is Abbie's birthday! YAY! We can finally get into rated R movies without somebody else buying our tickets! It's a beautiful thing. We saw Rock Star Saturday, but Abbie's 20-year-old sister had to buy us the tickets. It was a pretty good movie. It was worth $7.00 to see Mark Whalberg's naked ass 10 feet wide. Yummmmm....
   Well, it's Katie's bed-time. More updates and stuff to come later this week.

Boy oh boy did we update today! We added lots of stuff. And some of the stuff we've been thinking of adding for a long time finally made it here. The three new things you can check out are:

For this update, we actually sat down in homeroom one day and wrote down all our ideas and developed them. We discussed everything while our teacher looked at us like we were complete weirdo's. Oh well, let 'em think what they want...
We highly recommend Miscellaneous Stuff. It's all those things that are really funny, but aren't big enough to take up a whole section. We just put 'em all in there together. It's some really strange yet funny stuff. Check it out.
Next order of business: We did not update FOTW or Confessions. Not because we're lazy, it's because they didn't need it. Everything still stands the way it is in FOTW and we haven't had time to have anything to confess.
**News: Let's see.... The first football game of the season was a disaster. First of all, our band was terrible and second, our team lost. Oh well, ya can't win em all. We'll get the rest of them, though. I think everything will get better pretty soon. Our football team WILL win the remainder of the games this season and our band WILL improve and stop complaining about everything. I wonder if the Backstreet Boys ever had this much trouble trying to get everybody on the same page?.....I can just see it now. Nick and Kevin goin' at it about who gets to sing the lead and Howie getting frustrated cause AJ borrowed his mousse without asking first. Yeah....they have their share of problems, but do they have 80 folks that can't seem to figure out which foot is which, especially when you're screaming "LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT" at the top of your lungs? No....I didn't think so. I'd like to see the Backstreet Boys try to march in our band for a day. It sure would be funny to see them try to march with me and Abbie clung to their legs for dear life. And even funnier to see Howie complain about having to wear the ugly hats we wear. "...but it's gonna mess up my hair!!!!" Haha.
Oh well, enough venting....Enjoy the update.

La dee da....It's us again. We were gonna do this really big update and everything, but.....no. We just haven't had the time or energy, but the least we could do is drop you faithful (7) fans a line or two. We DID, however, totally re-vamp the Links page. Trust us, it needed it...BAD. Yeah, we know some really good links are missing. Email us and let us know if you see a big link missing. We were also gonna update the FOTW, but it didn't need it. Things are still the same, so we left it as it is. Oh well, we'll try to think of some funny stuff for ya soon.
With football season comming up soon (the first game is Friday), we will hardly have time for updates anymore, but we'll try as hard as possible. Ya never know when we're gonna feel like updating.
Okay, on to other business. People! You have to sign the g-book when you visit. It's driving us crazy. We only get like one new entry every 2 weeks. PLEASE tell us what you think....even if you think we suck.

We know you're all so excited to hear from us again (yeah right). Anyway, in the update department, we've added a new section and updated the FOTW and Confessions. The new section is one we've been trying to get up for a while, but those damn pictures were hard to find! Enjoy them.

*AJ is officially out of rehab and on his way to recovery. The guys go out on the road again on the 24th. We wish them the best of luck and happiness.
*There were pictures posted on Backstreet.net of AJ little miss bit.....I mean Sarah *cough cough* attending the premiere of American Pie 2. Katie and Abbie are both jealous. Abbie because AJ's still with Sarah and Katie because she really wants to see
American Pie 2.
*Krystal has been on TRL a little lately, lets give Britney a run for her money and get Krystal on up in the countdown! She deserves it.

Katie & Abbie News:
*We're back at school now. It sucks as always. Katie was so looking forward to it, but now that we're there, it sucks.
*After a few spats lately (namely in Pizza Hut parking lots and bathrooms, we're proud to announce that things between us are A-Okay! It was over something (someone) stupid anyway.
*Katie is smiling again this week due to a certain person. *wink wink* :D Abbie's happy for her too. (I HAD to put this in here!)
*Our marching band consists of about 80 people this year (not a good number). And we're really bad right now. Oh well, at least it's still fun sometimes. Our first game is August 31st. We're excited. We really are. :|

Okay, you're probably tired of hearing about us, so we'll just leave you with the updates and tell you that when this was written, we weren't completely done updating yet, so there may be more to come before the weekend's over. Maybe not. Ya never know with us.

Just had to update a few things today. Not alot. Mostly Confessions and Flavor of the Week. Those were really bugging me! As you can tell from the confessions, I got the NSync CD. It's okay. It's not bad. Okay, I confess: I shake my little booty to it all the time.

Anyways, news on AJ: two more weeks in rehab. We're all really glad he's giving himself more time instead of pushing his limit. He needs time. We're still behind him all the way. (like we couldn't be!)

School is starting this Friday, therefore we will have NO time to update. We're gonna try, but forgive us in advance if you don't hear from us in 3 months. We're gonna try like crazy to get in some new sections before school starts.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a miracle!!!! It's an UPDATE! We're so proud. While this update is mostly seriousness and non-humor, we still had to do it. We added the most obvious section:
We're With You - naturally a section devoted to the news of AJ's entry into rehab and our opinions and views on it.
As normal, Flavor of the Week and Confessions have been updated.

Now, This is updates and news, so here's our news: School starts on August 3rd. That's next Friday! Hard to believe, but true.
We just got done with two excruciating weeks of band camp. Our feet hurt and Katie has developed a serious (and ugly) sunburn on her forehead. (email her some aloe lotion, please!) We're doing an okay show this year- music from "The Mask of Zorro"....yep the Antonio Banderas movie. It'll look great when it's all put together. The two weeks of camp are over, but the season is just starting. We can't wait for that first game....we're very excited! Katie and Abbie have also decided to try out for Drum Major next year. (wish us luck)
In news that makes Abbie happy, (don't ask why..and NO we don't mean like that!) Katie is now officially un-attached. In other words...Katie got dumped. (it wasn't bad, though)
In news that makes BOTH Got Funny members happy, only 10 more days for AJ.
Abbie says: "10 more days for the HOT MAN and then he's all mine!"

Now for Backstreet-related news: in the huge uproar of AJ's news, it was overlooked by some that Nicky broke his wrist. I knew he'd break something sooner or later...he just has too much energy. Aaron told us on the Disney special that he was better at basketball than Nick. Nicky just didn't listen. Pudgy retard. (just kidding! We love you Nick!)

We just found out that we (our band) will be going to the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay, Florida this winter. The first thing that popped in our minds was "NICK!" when we heard about this. Ahh....We'll be REALLY close to his housie when we go. Oh well, we're insane. But isn't that why you're laughing while reading this now?

Oh goodie goodie gumdrops! The counter has finally hit 1000! We are so excited! This is a dream come true for us! *gives a fake thank-you speech like Christina Aguilera* We'd like to thank all the little people we've had to step on to get here. *winks at the little people*
In all seriousness, when we started this little page....it SUCKED. But 1000 people didn't think it sucked. We know 1000 on the counter is NOTHING compared to what great sites like Backstreet Funnies, Whodaman, and Da Phat Farm have, but it's a start. And it makes lil' ol' Abbie and Katie happy.
Hopefully, we'll hit 100,000 someday. In the meantime, if anybody reads this, please come back to the site. We love what we do and we do it for the sheer pleasure of someone thinking we're funny. THANK YOU!!!!

So, how was everyone's 4th? Ours was good. Although we did not spend it together this year, we had a pretty good day. Happy Birthday America! :)

What's this? Another update? So soon? YAY. We're keeping up with it. Actually, this update only contains ONE new section and alot of pains in the pudge. The new section, Bootylicious was a total pain to create, but the end result was worth it. Incase you're wondering...yes, Bootylicious was all Katie's doing. Abbie laughed at it, but it was Katie's idea. Email us or sign the guestbook with comments on the new stuff if ya want. We love to get mail!

In the news department, our friend Abby is out of the ICU and recovering.

In Katie's neck of the woods, her cousin's first baby was born July 2. Shelly Louise. Katie is so happy to have a new member in her family. :)

Well, faithful Got Funny followers, the 4th is upon us. We would include what we did on July 4, but it hasn't happened yet. (Katie is typing this at 1:00 Wednesday morning) So, all we can offer is a Happy 4th of July to "Ev-er-y-one". And may it be a safe one at that.

We also added those *really cute* banners at the bottom of the main page. Sorry, we thought they were good. True, they're not like PERFECT...but they had good ideas behind them. Katie made them with Abbie's help on the text. Oh well...Katie sucks. Get used to it. If you're wondering about the "Pudge People" banner...don't worry! The story behind it is comming soon (hopefully). And if you're wondering about the SpeedoMan banner...where have YOU been? Check out our SpeedoMan and Return of SpeedoMan sections.

The two other sections we've added are We Do Not Hate Kevin and We Made Headlines.

As always, our "Confessions" and "Flavor of the Week" have been updated.

On the sadder side of things, our good friend Abby had a really bad car accident on Wednesday. She had broken leg, broken pelvic bone, punctured spleen and other internal injuries. The doctors say she has an excellent chance of a full recovery, though. So, that's really good news for us and her. WE LOVE YOU ABBY!!
