EXTREME CLASHERS

Prolog

It had been a sunny day in the Alp village; one Swinan Talerd would have enjoyed.  However, that was not to happen.  Swinan's power made him legendary in his home, and since he had heard of the Dark Leagen, it made him a target.

So, Swinan waited in his underground fortress.  Though his

death seemed inevitable, its manner was Surprising.  It happened

at about 12:30 A. M. F. S. T.

Suddenly, the entrance to his chamber glowed, and finally

vaporized.  Through the portal came a boy.  He looked short for

his age, his black hair and turquoise eyes the center of view.  He

was dressed in a yellow T-shirt and black pants.

At first, Swinan was confused.  At least, until he saw it.  A

ring on the boy’s right hand. It had a black stone, marked with a

green D, overlapped by a scarlet L. Swinan assumed a battle

stance.

The boy aimed his hands at Swinan and produced a beach ball

sized mass of light.  He hurled the ball at Swinan who caught it

full in the stomach.  He doubled over, and finally fell.  Before

Swinan could get up; the boy produced a flash of light, and in

Swinan's place, were a few specks of dust.

The boy reached for his watch and pushed a button.

    "Mission accomplished." he said

Chapter 1

Night was falling. Isuzu was running late.  The American Air

Line flight had been delayed four times over four hours.  Next

time, lie was taking a different service.      Isuzu headed for his family's house, but they met him on the sidewalk.

"And exactly where were you?" his father asked.

"Those blasted planes were delayed again!" Isuzu answered.

Leeshin, his older brother, laughed.

"Consider yourself lucky," lie said, "It's hard to find any air travel service that doesn't delay at least twenty flights a day."

They walked onward.  As they turned the corner, a man stood in

their path.  He wore a flowing gray cape, matched only by his

deadly eyes.  Green body armor covered him, highlighted by white

gloves boots and belt.  His belt buckle was black circle marked

with a green D, overlapped by a red L.

"Hello," his icy voice toned, "I've been waiting for you."

Leeshin stepped forward.

"And just who are you, Halloween is

over."

The man answered by raising his hand.  Light threw

Leeshin backward.  He got to his feet and tackled the capped

man.  A grid of pink light appeared over the two of them.  The three

squares over Leeshin glowed and faded.  Leeshin lay motionless and smoking on the ground.

"Who am I?" the man said coldly, "Hear a name few have lived

to remember.  I am Tarfin, and this planet. Is mine."

He turned to Isuzu and Leeshin's father, who was

quivering, his radiant sapphire eyes blazing.

"You'll pay for that, darn you!"

        "Will I?" Tarfin said cruelly.

          With that, Isuzu's father

lunged, glowing, at the murderer.  But with a flick of Tarfin’s

wrist the man burst into flames and fell to the ground.

Isuzu's hands glowed. "How dare You!" lie thundered.

"Silence," Tarfin said, "I'm not after you, so run for your

life before I choose to be."

        Isuzu stood firm.

"You'll be running in a minute" Isuzu said, "Yamahah!" a blaze of blue light shot from his hands and struck the fleeing attackers Isuzu rushed after him, although not quick enough.

In an instant, his life had changed forever, and one thing was

burning in his mind.
