Chapter 6

Tarfin reached for his radio. "Saktee, call Oren, I think something has happened with the boy."   Tarfin called Chevrelet.

  "Yes Sir." The boy answered.

      "Have the three been beaten?"

      "Yes Sir."

"Good I have a target for you in Japan."

"Is that true?" Kia asked, "About us being beaten."

"Yeah," Chevrelet answered, "I beat you and that guy, and you

beat that crazy woman.  Now, if Tarfin wants someone killed, then

they may just decide to try and stop him. He usually picks those

he finds threatening to be eliminated." he smiled, "Do you want to go to Japan?"

"Sure," Kia answered. Chevrelet picked up Kia and flew off.

Oren leaned against the wall and waited.  Things were going

slow lately, especially at his location in Timbuktu. Then, he

received a message.  "This is Oren," He said.

"This is Saktee," a voice sounded, "You have a mission.  A

strange energy pattern has been found in the United States.  You

are to investigate it.  If threatening, you will destroy its

barer."

"As ordered," Oren answered.  He turned off the communicator

and returned it to the pocket on his purple tanktop.

"Yeah right, like Ill serve in a world ruled by a slug like

Tarfin, "Oren spat.

Suzuki walked back toward the station. He didn't know why, but

he had to convince these people. As he was walking down the

road, he felt strong life forces nearby.  Toyota ran toward

him.

"Suzuki! " she shouted, "look! She pointed to two children

floating in the air, both about nine. Suzuki looked up, and

they descended the boy spoke.

"I know you."  he pointed at Toyota.

"You were the one who attacked Kavinah," she said

Suzuki chimed in.

"What do you want with me?"

"Tarfin, the guy who wanted Kavinah, Wants you now, and he

wants the world.   But, if he wants you dead, that means you

could be a match for him. It would be good, if you helped us

stop him.  “Will you?" Chevrelet waited. Suzuki finally agreed.

"Wait," Toyota, said, "If this is a trap, I'm not letting you

go alone." Suzuki lifted Toyota into the air and flew after the two children.

Chapter 7

Oren looked around.  The street was crowded, no clear way to

Find his victim. But he sensed someone nearby held strange

powers.  He walked closer, and finally placed the power upon a

guy of about nineteen.  Oren raised his hands.      "Kao," he said.  A green beam of light moved toward the guy.  Suddenly, the light vanished, the sizzle in the air stopped.  The guy walked passed Oren.

Oren grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and brought him

around. He kicked in a certain spot and fell.  They got up and faced each other.  Then, the guy's appearance changed.  A white helmet appeared on his head, blue armor appeared all over him as well as yellow gloves, boot, and shoulder pads.

"What?" Oren said supressing a gasp, "How'd you do that?" The

guy answered by producing a beam of light that caused Oren

to step backward.  Oren began feeling intense heat.  After a

moment, it all vanished, and was replaced by coldness that broke

his concentration.

         "Who are you?" Oren choked.

"You can just call me Spectro." With that, he vanished.  Oren

leapt in the spot where he had been and found that he was still

there.  Spectro created a field of heat around him that caught

Orien’s punch.

"Kao blaze!" Oren shouted as an enormous beam of green light,

came toward Spectro. But the light vanished.  Then, Oren

realized what was going on.  This guy used the electro magnetic

spectrum, his powers came from different forms of radiation

This meant that Oren could die any moment, Spectro was just

letting him live.

Spectro raised his hand, and a small, empty plane came to the

ground.  He got in and flew away.  Realizing his defeat, Oren

headed back toward DLH.

Chapter 8

After going ten miles, the sun had both risen and fallen.  It

was now nighttime.  It had occurred to Isuzu that the

instructions may have been false, but it was all he had.  There

still were ten miles left, but Isuzu would not give up.

Although flying was 'faster than flying, it still took a while

to reach the mountain. After three hours, five minutes and

forty-six minutes of flying, Chevrelet, Kia, Toyota, and Suzuki

had reached the mainland.

"How much farther is it?" Suzuki called.

"From here, about a couple of hours," Chevrelet answered.  They

had been flying in pace with the rising sun, but it had finally

gotten ahead of them.

Tarfin looked concerned.  Saktee spoke:     "Sir what is it?"

"All three are alive, the boy has betrayed us.  See if you can

access the G.A.S. and monitor the mountain.  I'll see how are methods

have worked on Vipor."

Tarfin entered a corridor and walked to its end.  He took off

his left glove and put, his hand over a wall panel.  The wall

slid open and Tarfin entered.

Connected to all sorts of machinery was a man, who had been

changed. His skin had been tattooed green, his hands fitted with

claws, his teeth replaced with long fangs of milky white coral,

and scaly skin made up a cobra like hood on his neck. Tarfin

grinned.

"Are you ready to 'submit to my power?" he said tauntingly. The

man spoke in a voice of pain:     "1'11 never let you win." Tarfin turned to a computer console and looked down upon it.  There were four rectangular buttons side by side.  Their only difference was their color, an icy blue, a blood red, and a venomous green and sulfuric yellow.

"Now," Tarfin said mockingly, "That just won’t do," and he

pushed the yellow button. The man twisted in excruciating pain

as a large amount of electricity shot through him.     "I'm afraid your nightmares will become a reality," Tarfin said, his hand poised over, the blue button. "Pleasant dreams," He laughed and pushed the button.

Saktee had found that two miles away were two people, heading

in the DLH's direction.  About 7 miles to the east, were four

people flying toward the mountain.  To the west was Oren, about

10 miles away, being followed by a small plane. Tarfin came in

the room.

        "What's the situation?" he asked.

"The boy and six others should arrive in about 30 minutes,

Oren should arrive by then also."

"Seven on three, doesn't sound too difficult." Tarfin smirked.

Then he said, "How long can you hold them off?"

"Alone, for about ten minutes.  With Oren, about 20, with

defobots, as long as you need."

Tarfin smiled.  Defobots were androids made to fight.  They

Could be beaten, but designed with special crystals that enabled

them to destroy themselves, or create more.
