The day started in the unusally quiet dining room of the Tendo home.
"what's for breakfest Kasumi?' said Ranma in a tired voice.
"I don't know. Akane is making breakfest this morning." Kasumi said from the kitchen.
Ranma froze at the thought of Akane's food from hell. Mean while, the sense of directionless Ryoga was walking by trying to find the house, he had passed it around 732 times this mourning.
"Hmmm...it's around here some where. I have to find Akane! To tell her how I feel!" Ryoga looked to the house and in bold letters it said "Tendo Traning Hall"
"Oh! Wonderful. I found her home." Ryoga said to him self.
Suddenly Ryoga herd some thing, singing, beautiful singing. He thought it must be Akane! He ran in the direction he was hearing it from. It was coming from Ukyo's Resturaunt. He went inside to find Ukyo cooking a wonderful meal while singing.
"Oh! Ukyo-Sama! Ogenki desu ka." Ryoga said cheerfuly.
"Hai, okagesama de."Ukyo giggled. Ryoga could smell the mouth watering scent from the door. Then, all the sudden, Ranma came darting in.
"Ucchan! Ucchan! Save me from Akane's nightmare food!" Ranma screamed!
"Akane? Where?" Ryoga spouted.
Akane came running in holding a bowl of some kind of food.
"Ran-chan! Get back here!" yelled Akane from the top of her lungs.
Ranma jumped out the window and Akane followed. Then Ukyo sighed, "My my. Every day! He runs and she persues. Well, Ryoga-sama, want some thing to eat and drink?"
Ukyo brought a plate of food to Ryoga. Ryoga's drool was like a water fall.
"Dig in!" Ukyo said kindly.
"Mmmmmm! Good!" Ryouga loved his meal! It was the only good meal he had in a while.
"Haven't seen around much sugar. Where ya' been?"
"Looking for the Tendo home. I got a little bit lost."
Ukyo just giggled and said, "Well, your welcome here any time!"
"Domo arigato Ukyo-Sama."
"Any time sugar! Any time."
Ryoga soon finished his plate. He was about to pay Ukyo when he relized he had not a bit of yen!
"Uuuh...Ukyo-sama...I have no money."
"Well,Sugar, how about working off your meal? It would be great help since my old worker left. hmmmmmm?"
"Okay. Thanks."
He started that day washing dishes. It was quite busy and with only two people there it was hard work. Then in came the friendly Shampoo.
"May Shampoo see Ukyo?" Shampoo asked.
"Oh! Konnichiwa Shampoo-san. What is it you want?"
"Why Ryoga work here?"
"Oh him? He's just paying a little bit of debt. Why?"
"No reason. Also, may Shampoo get some food?"
"Of coarse!"
That evening the resturaunt was closing and it was quiet.
"Well Sugar! You surely worked off your debt. You can go if you want to." Ukyo quietly said.
Ryoga stood a moment thinking then said, "Nah, I think I'll stay. You need help right? And it was quite fun. I also need the money." Ukyo smiled then told him the hours and how much he would be payed.
"May I stay here with Ukyo-sama? I have no home." Ryoga shyly said.
"Of coarse!" Ukyo kindly replyed. The next mourning they weren't busy, only one or two people came.
"Ryoga, I'm going to the store. Would you watch the resturaunt?"
"Alright!" Ryoga said joyfuly. Ukyo left and Ryoga ran the resturaunt till she came back. It was nice to be the boss for a change, but , to his misfortune, the realy realy busy lunch hour came and Ukyo wasn't back! During that time he had many angry customers. Fortunately Ukyo had returned by around one thirty. After that every thing went back to normal. The evening closing time was quite a relief to poor Ryoga.
"Oh sugar! Great work! For doing about one third of the lunch time on your own you get a bonus this week!" Ukyo exclaimed.
"Yorokonde! It was pretty bad till you arived though!"
"Things have never been better since you arived Ryoga-san! Thank you so much!"
