The next morning Enishi sat his throne pondering about how he will tell her how much he cares. She must not like him too much since he almost killed Kenshin and kidnapping her shouldn't go over well. He remembered when Geinn-san presented the puppet made of dead body parts. It looked exactly like his beloved in every way but when he kissed the puppet on it's lips it was cold. He longed to taste her warm beautiful lips and to hug her soft warm body. He then let out a heavy sigh and said "I am so undeserving of such a fine woman. Heh heh heh...heh. but I can not let Battousai take her. She is my all..my world..she means more to me than even Tomoe!" He was then shocked. To hear him say that some one ment more than his wonderful sister, only recently he had come to terms with her death.
After many hours of annoyance Kenshin finally agreed with Sanosuke's plan to get revenge for Kaoru. They were packing for the trip when Kenshin started to cry. He hid his face but Sanosuke took notice in an instant. "Kenshin! You cry baby! Cut it out! What would Jo-chan say!!?!!" Sanosuke yelled as he carried a box of first aid items to their boat.
"Sanosuke, you are one to talk! This one saw you just last night at Kaoru-dono's grave sobbing." Kenshin said looking a little angry. Sanosuke didn't take too kindly to this and it made things pretty bad on the boat. They were disguissed as merchants to do dealing with the Yakuza. Yahiko snuck aboard after being told he couldn't come along. After two days they arived at the beautiful docks of the island of the Yakuza. When they finally noticed Yahiko they were already at the docks so it was to late to send him back.
"We be here to do buisness with ya. Is your leader about?" yelled Sanosuke from behind the thick fake beard he wore. Then a gaurd came shuffling out.
"His lordship Enishi is busy at this moment. I will take care of the buissness in his place." said the quivering gaurd. Kenshin, Sanosuke, and Yahiko easily over powerd the gaurd and snuck inside.
By this point Kaoru had grown use to Enishi and maybe to even care about him. He was kind and gental but she knew behind that sweet outside is an insane killer. A man who killed a family just for being happier than him. Yet, she felt sorry for him. He had lost the only person who matterd in his life so quickly that it was scarring. Kaoru had much respect for Tomoe. She was the woman who saved Kenshin from being forever Himura Battousai the Hitokiri. She took care of her little brother like she was his mother. Kaoru admired Tomoe greatly and felt some what below Tomoe. That Tomoe was some one she could never match the kindness, the mystery, the wonder, and all of the others. When Kaoru thought of this she curled into a ball and began to cry. She was a wretched creature trying to live up to a goddess. A goddess who's purety is and always will be untouched. To Enishi this was some what wrong. Kaoru was his saviour. The way he saw it was Tomoe held him up but when she let go of her grip Kaoru caught him. Kaoru was not an ugly monster trying to be like a goddess, she was a goddess! This is a thought he would take with him to the grave.
