Krillin is Goku's best friend. They met in childhood, during the original DragonBall series, while both training under Master Roshi, and have been friends ever since. During the DBZ series, Krillin becomes friends with Goku's son, Gohan. Krillin used to be a monk, which is why he has a shaved head for much of the series, but during the Cell saga he lets his hair grow out.
Krillin is one of the most powerful human characters in the series, although his power level is eventually eclipsed by that of the Super Saiyans. He is not one of the bravest fighters, and has been known to show fear at crucial moments, but he usually comes through in the clutch and he has the best interests of his friends at heart. Krillin has a well-deserved reputation as a loner and has very little success in the relationship department, although he does eventually marry android #18. |
