Here is one of the first carbine made by Inland Div.. It was made by Inland Div. in 1942. It is one of the first 10 carbines sent to Aberdeen Proving Ground for testing from February 10 to April 11,1942. I was able to contact Larry Ruth the author of many M1 carbine books. He was able to proved my with the 52 page report from Aberdeen Proving Gounds when the rifle was there. The report records all shots fired though the rifle if there was a malfunction what had happen and even how many times the rifle was cleaned. |
