Here are some photos of Jim Porter and his wife Dot. Jim is one of the most knowledgeable bass fisherman that I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and I feel privileged to call him my friend.  He is without a doubt, hands down the "Professor" of the Stick Marsh in Florida.  He is a well-known sportswriter in Bass Fishing circles and also the author of several books.  His straight forward help in his articles make fishing the Stick Marsh a lot easier for the first time fisherman there, or for someone who only gets down once or twice a year.  His secret lure (Now well known) "The Swimming Worm" is a deadly bait if you have the patience and enjoy fishing with light tackle for big bass. Jim's other weapon is his wife's knack with the Texas worm rig.  She just had the feel for it I suppose is the correct way to put it, deadly is a better way to describe her talent with this bait.              Jim's most recent articles are available  HERE
