Saturday 4th June 2005.
We got up, had a shower and some breakfast in the cabin. I had some Milo, Milk, bread, Marg and Vegemite with me so i was set. About 10am Pete was ready to go and of course I was just closing my bags when they came to clean the cabin. That was ok, i cliped the last Panniar on the bike and dragged my jackets outside to let them at it.
Eventually we were back on the bikes and down to Duntroon to meet up with Paul who had a lone of a BMW R100GS and by now had been waiting for about 20 minutes.

and I think we were lucky as there was more dirt than shingle and very little snow on the road. The few extreme slippery patches were fairly small and the area of high stress was all over in about 15 minutes The whole pass seemed a lot shorter than I remembered. The only other time I was through there was in my Van about one and a half years ago on a Christmas holiday. Then I was going the other direction too. |

So now we are at the Danseys Pub. Time for a drink and some lunch. The day was warming up so it was also time to get some of those clothes off, at least for a while. |

After Danseys, we stopped in at Ranfurly for fuel then took another side road diverson which came out at Wedderburn. We hung a left and about 10 minutes later we were signing in at the Rally gate. |
