Easy Baby Sweater and Hat

Here is the baby sweater/hat combo I knitted for my cousin's baby Addison. I had hoped to write out the pattern instructions, however, as per the designer of the sweater, I am not at liberty to do so and I will respect her wishes. If you would like to order this pattern, it is available through the Patternworks catalog (pattern #800188) c135 by JoAnne Turcotte. Yarn: Lion Brand Cotton Ease "Candy Blue" yarn which is 50% cotton, 50% acrylic and is machine washable and dryable. Notes: The pattern for this sweater is pretty easy to follow and understand, however I made a few minor changes to it along the way. Instead of the conventional casting off along the neckline, I took the stitches off the needles, tightened them and sewed (weaved) them together. I think this made a very nice edging, and it mirrors the bottom casting on exactly! |
