Red Ribbed Scarf

This scarf was my very first knitting project. I knitted this scarf for my brother, however his girlfriend Petra (model on the right in front of a smart car) "adopted" it. Yarn: I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease "Red Sprinkles 112" Needles: size 7 Gauge: no gauge calculated Cast on 45 sts. Row 1: *K3, P3*, repeat from * to end. Row 2: *P3, K3*, repeat from * to end. Repeat these 2 rows until desired length is reached. Notes: The finished scarf measured 64 inches long, and 5 inches wide (unstreched). The ribbed pattern makes the scarf very strechy and soft. This might look nice in more than one color, and would be really cute with fringe or tassles! |
