Navid's Striped Sweater
| Friends of ours have a son named Navid, and here he is with his mom, Nahid. The pattern is from Lion Brand using Microspun yarn in Buttercup, Mango and Cherry red. The trick is to NOT cut the yarn at every color change, but carry it up the side. You have to sew the seams anyway, so no one will see the yarn up the side, especially if you twist it with the other waiting color. I did one front side the hard way (having to darn in all the cut pieces at every stripe) and then it dawned on me... :) |
