How to remove and installed

91 to 95 Legend ECU

Tools needed remove the  ECU.

 Phillips, Flat head  10mm socket 

Step 1

Roll the passenger seat all the way back.

Step 2

Remove  plastic panel under the glove box. There are 3 plastic screw ( for LS make sure you remove the under glove box light wire)

Step 3

Remove the Plastic door trim liner with your flat head screw driver.

Step 4

Remove the side panel with your hands. Just get a good grip and pull on it. There is only 2 clips that will be holding the panel in.

Step 5

Pull the Carpet back

Step 6

Remove all 4 of the 10 mm screw. 2 on the bottom and 2 up on the corner

Step 7

Make sure you remove the ECU jumper wire. This is located on the very top right corner on the panel.

Step 8

Remove the kick panel and unplug the black relay behind the kick panel

Step 10

Remove the ECU wires. Just push down on the clip and pull out. You might need the flat head screw driver to help you remove the cables. Be careful not to damage the plastic plugs when using the flat head screw driver.

Step 11

Just take the new ECU and plug it back in. Don't worry the Plugs will only fit in one slot so you can't mix them up.
