Steve Crawfoird was born in Everett, MA and moved to nearby MALDEN, MA in 1954. He developed a passion for hockey while playing on the frozen ponds and backyards of his home town. When there wasnt any snow, he woudl pay street hocky. Being not exactly fleet of foot, he soon became a goalie making it to second string on his highschool JV team. There he developed a fondness for the bench as he hardly left it.
He moved to CA in 1977 to pursue a career in movies and TV. He started playing ice hockey again at the old North Hills ICEOPLEX in 1995 as a forward. He has retained his customery position in left wingers spot ever since.
He did realize his dream of making it in showbusiness as the DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY on NYPD Blue and still plays left wing on the STARS...
He is still not exactly fleet of foot. |
