The moment that changed his life forever...

Goku was unbeatable until an Alien named Freiza crossed his path on Namek. The fight between them was intense but Frieza was ripping the Earth raised Saiyan apart. After using the Ultimate Spirit bomb on Frieza, Goku thought it was all over.

Freiza kills Krillin - Goku's best friend by blowing him up and seriously injures Piccolo with a beam that was shot through his chest. Freiza was aiming for little Gohan next but that was it for Goku. He let his anger and pain rise, letting his hidden and sleeping power rise with them. He was distraught and livid by the actions of Frieza. He screamed in rage and became what no other Saiyan had become in the last 1,000 years...

A Super Saiyan...

By the time Freiza had killed Krillin and hurt Piccolo, it was already too late. Goku took the upper hand in the fight now and tore Freiza apart. He faught for his family, Krillin, Piccolo and the Saiyan race. But becomming this form of a Saiyan had it's disadvantages.

Saiyans were a proud race of warriors and often too confident or cocky. They were ruthless killers and because of this transformation, Goku was slowly loosing what he called himself. He doesn't loose his love and care or his pure heart, he just finally becomes what they call...a Saiyan, at last.
