~Wash all soiled silks and rep cloth tunics/other slave garments
~Do laundry for Free (slaves owned by a Master/Mistress will be responsible for doing that laundry; City ko'lars will launder for Free Guests/Free without owned slaves)
~Make fresh kalda
~Shake/beat and fluff Great Room furs for Free and slaves
~Total servery/cold room cleaning time:
-Take everything off the shelves and clean shelves
-Wash all pots/pans, plates, pitchers, drinking vessels,utensils, etc. and put away in appropriate places
-Sweep and mop/scrub servery and cold room floors
-Clean all cold room shelves
-Empty old grains (feed to vulos) and flours; clean bins and refill
with fresh grains/flours
-Clean tins of bazi, spiced, and herbal teas, blackwyne, and
chocolate beans; refill with fres teas/beans and clean the bean grinder
-Scrub all counter and cooktops
-Clean shelves in dry goods room
~Mend all torn tunics,leathers, robes, etc. (again, owned slaves are
responsible for their Masters/Mistresses; City ko'lars responsible for Guest
Free/Free without owned slaves)
~Collect and polish all boots outside Masters' chambers and return when
finished (see above for distribution of duties)
~Clean all living Cylinders - owned slaves will be required to care for
their Master's/Mistress's quarters; City ko'lars will be responsible for
cleaning Guest/Free without owned slaves quarters:
-Air out chambers
-Sweep and mop floors
-Shake/beat and fluff furs and pillows
-Dust shelves
-Refill oil lamps and clean glass gloves
-Sweep hearths (ashes to compost heap) and rebuild fires if
quarters occupied (stack wood in hearth for use if unoccupied)
-Restock enough firewood for day/night
-Clean washing and dressing areas
-Bring in fresh flowers and place in bowls/vases around the
quarters
Oil whips (MUST HAVE permission from a Free before touching whips)
~Make fresh kalda
~Restock med kits and replace in Med Room
-Resterilize and sharpen needles as needed
-Refill herbs, powders, kanda leaves, salves, and paga as needed
-Add fresh clean bandages and squares of rep cloths to be used for wound cleaning/medicinal applications
~Clean out the dancing pit of any harmful objects and rake sand smooth
~Clean the bosk pens
~Collect hard bosk chips for cooking/warming fires and put into barrel
behind servery (near fires)
~Clean the kaiila pens
~Remove old hay and replace with fresh hay in vulo pens/beds
~clean sleen pens, you will need a Masters help with this, ask a Master if He would tie the sleens on one half of the pen, clean that have, then ask the Master if he could then move them to the clean half, when done leave the pen so the sleens can be set lose
~Make fresh kalda
~Wash all glass gloves from oil lamps in Great Room and servery
~Refill all oil lamps in Great Room and servery
~Any chores that didn't get done earlier in the week, or as requested
by Free
