There are a number of ways one may recommend to get started. Some may recommend one run see an advisor, some say run to Wall Street, others say run to buy real estate or bonds. As you may have guessed, I recommend none of the above for a first step. Instead, I recommed that you pick up something that has become pase in recent days, but I recommend you run to the book store and read, do your own homework and learn the basics. There are many things that can come between you and your hard earned money. The wide open doorway that you need to slam shut is the knowledge gap. The less you know, the more you can get screwed. In order to avoid this from happening, at least give yourself a basic understanding of money and finances. Relax, it is not as bad as you think... I have done the hard work for you. Links are listed below to help you locate each individual book I recommend you read. For the sake of sanity, beginning readers should follow the list in sequence order. Though this list is by no means exhaustive, it will get you pointed in the right direction. Some retailers who carry these and other fine books are, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Books a Million, and yes, Amazon. Read on!
