| This is one of my earliest attemps at realistic painting in oils. I came upon this wagon frame in the snow somewhere southeast of Medicine Hat Alberta, around 1983. This really captures the prairie rolling hills, typical around southern Alberta and the exposed vulnerability of the western farmer. I gave this painting to my sister Heather in appreciation for her hospitality while I was going through some hard times. |
