I spotted this cow and calf on a farm along highway 400 near the Coldwater turn-off, north of Barrie, Ontario. I couldn't get very close, so my telephoto lense came in real handy.
There is a quaulity of love in this image which was worth capturing. I like to eat beef as much as the next non-vegetarian, but can't help wondering if animals lives and feelings are much like ours. It helps to know God has given us dominion over the animals and allows us to use them for nurishment as well as beasts of burden. |
