| My wife, Donna, and I spent a few weekends sightseeing in and around St. Jacobs, Ontario, before our daughters were born. We came upon this Amish girl, with her mom, selling home made sausage and maple syrup. This was near the town of Elmira at the Woolwich Road. You will not find more sincere and honest people and their love of life shines in the foods they create and prepare. I wish I was there now shopping for a fine portion of farmers sausage. The painting was purchased by a Sudbury, Ontario physician. |
