| Richard and Gordon |
| These are my twin nephews, who were born October 6, 2000. They are fraternal twins, so eventually, it should become easier to tell them apart. As of now, though, it's sometimes quite a job to distinguish them from each other... though, they apparently already know their own names, because if you accidentally call one by his brother's name, he looks all confused until you get it right. Thank goodness, that apparently somebody's keeping score... |

| This is Richard, the big guy of the bunch. He's kinda the strong, silent type. Upon hearing about him, my friend Jessica (from the Pictures page) summarily nick-named him "Little Richard". He does seem to have some musical inclination (already!) so maybe that's not a bad nick-name at all! |

| This is Gordon, the older of the two. Jessica has nicknamed him "Mini-Me"... and yes, he is actually named for me! I feel priveleged! Gordon is the "live wire" of the bunch (just like his uncle was at that age, BTW), who always seems to be into something new. |

| This is Richard with his father James, my brother-in-law. James is a park ranger and a Civil-War-era historian. |

| This is Gordon with his mother Lucy, my sister, who is two years younger than me. Lucy is a web page designer (who built the Pickett's Mill Historical Site web page referred to on the index page) and a librariian. |
