| It is with great saddness that i have to announce the death of Grimalo Georg. Her health has been declining rapidly for the past two months since injecting herself with infected pigs blood in a russian roulette exercise before a multi-national concert where each member of her back up band injected themselves with blood, one sample of which was infected. The disease spread quickly through her body and her condition became so bad that she had to miss appearing with her project Disrepute At The Hands Of My Idol at the recent #3.02 Records Showcase Night instead performing separately in bed with a series of groans as the muscle and tissue in her neck was eaten by the parasites rampent in her form. Followers will take heart that her final action was actually to defy the illness from killing her and she blooded herself to take out all impurities, an action which ultimately killed her. However out of one dark event springs forth a new light of opportunity. During the months preceeding her death Georg recruited a band to play with her on various dates consisting of members of Kuhl Goyim Chien and Oswald III (Gordon Sweeney, Chris Lowe, Matt Alston and Dominick Allen) to form a #3.02 supergroup. This line-up was first unveiled without Georg at the showcase night and although the sound was markedly different to anything recorded by Georg this was not suprising as each live performance was unique in it's sound anyway. Georg felt a desire to let the project run after her death something which is of credit to her. This idea of having members from other projects combined as a collective Disrepute was discussed last week and it has been agreed that the following will take place. from Dominick Allen "Disrepute from now on will consist of Chris Lowe, Gordon Sweeney, Matt Alston and myself. each posting the other 4-track tapes, and scores, and descriptions, and building things that way. I tend to deal more in texture. so Sweeney could record, say, a piano part and a few drum loops, or whatever, and then I could do my whole twisting sounds about thing, and maybe overdub some other things. (Guitars, retro synths...'ethnic' instuments) with Matt Alston adding bass and Chris Lowe his unique guitar sound. I think it could compliment each other v. well. and between us it could be crazy. (I don't belive that "avant-garde", "modernism", or "post modernism" have any relevence anymore. or carry any of the weight they did, say 30 years ago. crazy is just a vague word.) I don't know how it would develope, but I have a few Ideas for piano, that I could post the others, as a start. Also we could get people to play bit's for us, I don't know who at this stage...or what. My four track runs on the faster speed.. so that may be, unusual." So from here forth Disrepute At The Hands Of My Idol will run as proposed with each member a building block in the texturised sound of a collective body. Carrying on the good work started by Georg. We would like to thank Grimalo Georg for her good work with the label since joining and in particular her 2 albums and EP released for her Disrepute project.
