His heart was racing and his palms were drenched. He hadn�t talked to a girl like that in a long time. And even when he did, back then, it was rare. Quinn made him so mad and she was so out of line. He only regretted that he hadn�t stood up for his mother when she was being disrespected by Quinn, that he didn�t stand up for Brian. She was crazy. She was out of it and hopefully some of what he said actually got through to her.
He couldn�t take her crap anymore. If she continued it would only hurt his relationship with his daughter because he couldn�t deal with Quinn and that would keep him away from Mac.
