He walked off without saying anything else and he knew Larry was right behind him,
"Where do you want to go?" He didn't say anything he just kept walking and came face to face with Josh and his mother. He stopped in the middle of the hallway,
"Why don't you go see Quinn." He knew Larry wouldn't just go,
"I'll stay with you." He shook his head,
"I don't need you to. Look, I'm sure Quinn needs you more-" Larry couldn't just do what he was told the first time. It always had to be a fight. Always,
"I'm not here for Quinn, I'm here because of you." He turned and looked at him,
"Why do you have to be so difficult? Why can't you just go? I want to be alone." Before he could say anything more he cut him off,
"Just go, I want to be alone, go." Larry shook his head as he walked off. His mother walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him,
"Have you had anything to eat?" He shook his head and he wasn't going to bother to tell her he wasn't hungry because she was going to make him eat regardless,
"Ok, I'll take care of that. I also moved you to my hotel. It has a kitchen and everything. You and the guys can pick up your things and move them over. You'll be in my suite and I got a room for Josh and Larry. I'm going to go to a grocery store and I'm cooking dinner tonight. Anything special you want?" He was bewildered, just like that she had taken control, changed everything.
"I don't want to leave right now." Jesus, he sounded like a five year old who didn't want to come in the house and stop playing. She nodded,
"That's fine sweetheart. I'm going to go get the food ready and you give me a call on my cell phone when you're ready to come home." He simply nodded and closed his eyes as she hugged and kissed him on the cheek. He could smell her perfume and it was so comforting, it was the same kind she had been wearing for the past four years. She walked off and he looked over at Josh. Josh was used to Jane, he had been there many times watching as Nick fought just to stay above water when it came to his mother.
"Where do you want to go?" He shook his head,
"I really don't know. You lead, I'll follow."
