She waved the thought off with her hand,
�Anyway.� She could tell. She had known him long enough. She could tell he wanted to say something that wasn�t pleasant.
�What?� He sighed,
�How�s everything with James?� She hadn�t told anyone about James.
�Things aren�t well with us.� He gave her a disapproving look and she immediately was defensive,
�No, its not my fault. He wanted to get married now�while Mac is in the hospital. Before I even knew she was going to be ok. I told him I didn�t want to do that and he acted like things weren�t going to work out between us. It was like it was all or nothing.� Elliott�s eyes stretched wide open,
�So, its off? The wedding? Everything?� She honestly didn�t know the answer to that, she thought as she shrugged her shoulders.
�Man, this is crazy. It�s just the stress. He�ll come around. You�ll see. In a month or so when Mac�s out of the hospital you guys can get married. I mean we can start planning it now. You guys can get married in say two or three months.� She smiled because she didn�t want to talk about it any further but for the first time she wasn�t sure if she wanted things to work out.
