They walked in and he was surprised to see Maleeyah sitting on the couch with some guy he had never seen before. She was wearing a pair of black shorts and a white tank top. Her feet were tucked underneath her and her body was turned facing her guest. They looked comfortable in their conversation.
�Hi, did you guys have a good time?�
�Yes.�
�This is Colin. Colin, this is Derek and Vanessa.�
�Nice to meet you both.�
She could tell Derek was a little surprised by the accent.
Vanessa frowned and looked at Maleeyah, �Where�s Ben? Did he just leave you here?�
�He�s out with Sean and Jack.�
Vanessa still didn�t know that Maleeyah wasn�t Ben�s friend for the day.
�But have you been here all day?�
Derek led her by the hand hoping to lead her to his room. He whispered in her ear, �Come on, I really want to see if those oysters are a real aphrodisiac.�
She quickly forgot about Maleeyah and headed towards the room without saying another word to Maleeyah all the while smiling and flirting with Derek.
He closed the door behind him and got undressed. She was down to her thong when he began to tell her about Maleeyah.
�Maleeyah isn�t just a guest for the day. She�s been here the whole week.�
�Wow Ben.� She chuckled lightly.
She still wasn�t getting it and he had to make her see what the situation was. They were all going to Ocho Rios tomorrow. He didn�t want her to find out about it at some inopportune time the next day.
�No Vanessa. She and Ben go to school together and she came with us from Florida.�
�Oh, so they�re dating?�
�No, she and Ben aren�t dating. They really are just friends.�
Some type of realization washed over her face.
�I didn�t know Maleeyah stayed here. So, she�s been here the entire time and she�s no one�s
girlfriend.�
Here it comes, he thought. He could see it. The immediate thought that if Maleeyah was with anyone it was him.
�And where has she been sleeping?�
�In her own room.�
�How did she get to come for the entire week? Why didn�t you invite me for the week?�
�She�s on Christmas vacation. And didn�t you have to work? Could you get an entire week off?�
He knew she couldn�t. Hell, she knew she couldn�t. She was the newest member of the staff. She always complained that because of that she had to do more than the others do and she had to work around everyone else�s schedules.
�Why didn�t you tell me?�
�Why does it matter? Its not a big deal.�
She sat on the edge of the bed, her breasts exposed and staring at him.
�If its not a big deal why didn�t you tell me before?�
�Because I didn�t want you to do what you�re doing now; making a big deal out of it.�
She slapped the bed with her hand, looking like a spoiled child, �I don�t like the idea of her being here with you. She probably hit on you didn�t she?�
He sighed and began to get undressed, �No, she didn�t. And before you even ask, I didn�t hit on her. Nothing happened.�
This was the last thing he wanted to do. It was why the off-season trip was generally so fun, because he didn�t bring women along. Next year, he wouldn�t break his rule.
He sat next to her on the king size bed and took her hand in his, �Baby, if I wanted to fool around with her why would I bring you here? Why would I bring you around her? Why would I have the two of you around each other? I was the one who suggested you come to Jamaica in the first place.�
She seemed to cave in, �Besides, if I had something going on with her would I kiss you like I did in front of her.�
He pushed her on her back and took her panties off, �There is nothing going on between me and her. She is Ben�s friend. That�s it.�
He spread her legs and ran his hand down, noting that she was ready for him. He kissed her, eliciting a moan from her when his tongue and his fingers entered her simultaneously.
�I just want you; only you.� He whispered. There was no place for this relationship to go and all the wining, dining and romance was going to hurt her that much more when he finally broke up with her. Which was bound to happen before the upcoming season was over.
