| Chapter 89a Esquire, a men's magazine which means they will want to make me look like a sex pot. Typical, I won't have to work so hard to make sure this is a great photoshoot. It's what I always do, try to look as sexy as possible. It's my thing, it's what I do. I think it's even what I'm known for. Either I'm looking sexy or I don't have an expression on my face, very few pictures have me smiling unless they were caught at some function or on the red carpet. "There is going to me a small interview as well. It's not a cover piece so it'll probably be a page and a couple of pictures the editor said." I nodded, "When is this?" She sat the bag by the door, "The day after tomorrow." She walked into the kitchen and began to take note of anything I needed, "You have tomorrow off but Steven scheduled the meeting with the lawyer for tomorrow. Tuesday is Esquire and a dental appointment. Wednesday you fly out to Vegas for the 80s thing. There will be press you'll have to do and rehearsal then the show will be taped Thursday night. There's a pre show party Thursday night." Never a fucking break. Even on the one day that it appeared I had a day off Steven dicked me and scheduled me to talk to some lawyer. "Why didn't I just stay out West. I came back for a photoshoot? We could have done the photoshoot in LA." She nodded, "Yes but the Vegas thing was a last minute addition so scheduling Esquire in New York seemed like the best thing to do at the time it was done." I nodded and rolled my eyes, "I'm sure." She didn't really expect me to be pacified with that response I'm sure. I hate things being piled on at the last minute, "Why didn't Pam tell me any of this?" It was obvious Cori knew about the meeting with the lawyer why didn't she? "Pam didn't know about Mr. Rosenberg and I'm not sure about the other stuff." This is why I consider Cori my primary assistant and she gets paid a hell of a lot more than Pam. Cori had just finished college and Pam was still living with her parents as well. I don't know how long Cori plans to stay with me but even though I've never told her she keeps me together. Chapter 90 Stranger Than Fiction Stories Feedback |
