Chapter 22

I took my phone from Cory's purse and found a quiet spot outside to talk.  I haven't talked to Steven since last night and I was really missing him.  Yesterday I found myself looking through Modern Bride, I already know how I want our wedding to be.  I want lots of flowers and candles, I want the wedding to be at night, somewhere near the water, something like a fairytale.  When the time was right, and we actually had time, we were going to look for our rings together.  I leaned against the wall and dialed his cell phone number,
"Hello?"  Who the hell was that?
"Who the hell is this?"  A woman answered his phone and it wasn't what I was expecting at all,
"This is Karen.  Who's this?"  Not only does she not hesitate to give her name, she has the balls to ask me who I am?
"This is Brehan.  Who are you?  Where is Steven?"  I can't believe this, he is screwing around.  He better not be screwing around or I will catch the next flight to wherever he is.  Hell, where the hell is he?  He told me when I was complaining that he wasn't going to be with me but I forgot.
"Hold on one moment, I'll get him."  Does this bitch not know who I am?  She's so fucking nonchalant about answering my boyfriend's phone.  I paced back and forth waiting for him to come to the phone.  It was taking him a long time to get his ass to the phone I know that much.
"Hi baby, how was the awards?"  Are you kidding me?  He just answers the phone like nothing was going on,
"Don't worry about the awards.  Who was that bitch who answered your phone?"  Now he is going to blow smoke up my ass,
"That's Karen.  She's one of the girls I came out here to see. One of the models I'm thinking about signing."  Oh no way, is he crazy?  Does he think I'm crazy?  Who the fuck buys that shit,
"Are you serious?  Am I supposed to buy that?  Why are you with her after midnight?"
"It's after midnight where you are Brehan.  I'm in Los Angeles remember?  It's only nine here."  He was so calm as he gave his explanation.  It only pissed me off even more,
"Oh yeah, like you're not screwing her."  I was his client and it only took two weeks before we were in bed together.  He sighed and I waited for my lecture on how unreasonable and dramatic I was being.
"Brehan, sweetheart, I love you.  Now, if there was anything going on do you think I would tell you that in front of her?  She's just a potential client, don't do this."  I rolled my eyes,
"Yeah, you would do that in front of her if she already knows about you and me and doesn't care.  You used to tell your wife you loved her while I was sucking your dick so no, you're not above doing that."  So many times he told her he loved her, even hugged and kissed her in front of me when she would come around.
"Brehan, do not do this.  That's the end of it.  I don't want to talk about this anymore.  God knows you've fucked enough people since you and I have been together.  Do I say anything? No, so shut up and go get drunk and don't call me back until you're ready to apologize.  I'm sure I'll be hearing about the latest girl you went off with soon."  That was it, he just hung up on me and I stood there thinking about one of the rare times I was around Steven and his wife.

They were all at a dinner party at Steven's house in LA when Brehan walked into one of the rooms looking at the art work on the wall.  She turned when she heard the door close and smiled when she saw Steven walking towards her with a glass of champagne,
"I'm only sixteen."  she said before drinking it one swallow.  He smiled,
"Only in years.  You're about twenty-five in every other way."  He grabbed her face and kissed her, she moaned as his tongue slid into her mouth but she pulled away quickly and wiped her mouth,
"What if someone catches us?"  He shook his head,
"They won't, besides, I locked the door."  She looked over at the door as she bit her lip,
"Come on, come over here."  He walked over to a chair and she stood before him, between his legs,
"Get down, on your knees.  I missed your mouth, those lips around me, you really are the best at it."  She could only imagine how many women he had been with and for him to say she was the best and she was only sixteen gave her a sense of pride. She smiled as she got on her knees and unzipped his pants,
"It's ok." he assured her as she took one final breath before licking her lips and taking his cock out of his pants.  She could here him sigh and the more he did, the more she wanted to please him.  He gripped her hair and thrust himself deeper into her mouth, he had such a firm grip on her hair she couldn't look up at him or pull her mouth away, all she could do was suck him.    She finally removed his hands from her hair and pulled back, licking his cock and placing kisses on him.  He growled,
"We don't have time for that.  We have to get back, just suck me faster."  He placed one hand behind her back and the other he used to grip the base off his cock as he shove it back in her mouth.  Soon he came in her mouth and held her head as she swallowed it all,
"Good girl."

No more than ten minutes after that he gave his wife a diamond fucking necklace, it must have cost at least a million dollars.  Then he kissed her and told her how much he loved her and that their marriage was just like diamonds, forever, the bastard.  I walked back to the party and handed my cell phone over to Cory,
"Here."  She looked at me,
"Are you ok?"  Am I ok?  Do I look ok?
"Yeah, I'm fucking happy as hell."  I walked off after taking her bag and left her standing there alone.  Martie wanted to call it a night after the show, I know she was nervous about doing so but I sent her home anyway, she looked tired.  I found the bathroom and locked myself in a stall, pulling out my little stash that was hidden inside my compact.  I cleaned the makeup out and kept the coke in it, Cory never knew.  I leaned back against the stall after I took a couple of lines.  It was just what I needed,
"Steven can kiss my ass.  I don't care anymore."  I whispered as I closed my eyes.   I walked back out after checking my face in the mirror and of course Cory was standing there waiting, I handed her the bag and kept walking.  I didn't stop until I reached the bar,
"Rum and coke."  I demanded of the bartender as I turned my back and scanned the room.  I am sick and tired of being put in a foul mood because of Steven, he was making me a crazy jealous bitch and being a paranoid needy girlfriend isn't a role I've played since I was thirteen.   I looked to the side and Nick was standing next to me with my drink in his hand,
"Here you go."  I took it from him and drank it down fast.
"Wow, you're more of a drinker than I am."  I looked over at him and frowned,
"I'm sure that's not saying much."  He smiled and shook his head,
"I've been known to not handle my alcohol well in the past, but I've gotten better."  Did I ask for a new buddy?  I don't recall,
"Well, there's an accomplishment.  I'm sure your parents are proud."  I was being rude, yes.  Did I give a damn?  Hell no, I didn't invite the kid over for some lame conversation.   I walked off leaving him standing there, not giving a damn how pissed or hurt or confused he might have been.  I felt my arm being tugged and turned to see an old friend,
"Cheryl, what's up?"  She smiled and hugged me,
"Hi baby, I haven't seen you in so long.  Come on."
